Using Mosquito MEMS to Collect DNA Samples
Soon scientists will have scaled down robotic insects. This is a good thing and most of this technology is being funded for Department of Defense uses as they will have a killer application there indeed. Miniature replica type bugs can go and collect DNA samples of the enemy, inject them with a sleeping type virus so they lose their will to fight or even get out of bed for that matter for a few days, thus your enemy is rendered useless without their will to fight. But such Mosquito type Mechanical Electrical Mechanisms will also be able to go into an area where there is an E-Bola breakout, or Bird Flu and take samples to see which strain it is and report back with the collected blood samples along with DNA for those in the lab to engineer a response to the disease, virus, pathogen or bacteria. If you will recall the movie; "Minority Report" with Tom Cruise the little spider like robots went into an area to do door by door searches and do retina scans while looking for the perpetrator of a future crime. This is along that line of thinking but for a more noble purpose than door-to-door government searches or the all seeing and knowing paranoid Sci-Fi future Earth Government. The tiny insect like units would go in and do their job and collect information. Test for all sort of things without you ever knowing about it. Additionally the welt marks from organic insects like Mosquitoes would not occur as the design of the sample nano-scale robotic arm "stinger type" apparatus, would not be barbed and thus would not cause tissue damage on the way out or secrete any substance which was aggressive to the human bio-system. For a defense these small collecting Nano-Micro Air vehicles would have a small electrical impulse to keep bats, spiders and larger bugs from trying to eat them. They also would be barely visible to the eye as they would have a coating or skin, which is nearly transparent and thus your brain would not pick them up or register them as an anomaly or detect their movement. If the lighting was just right then you might see them, but would realize that they are merely there for us and to monitor our civilization health. When humans came back with problems other Mechanical Mosquitoes would show up with antidotes to illnesses or insert other nano-devices into the human bio system to clean blocked arteries, remove plaque from the brain and repair, remove or eat cancer cells. Sounds too futuristic? You might be surprised, give it 50-80 and at maximum 100 Earth years. As each technology necessary to make this happen becomes available it will be so and with life expectancy creeping up on us as well, along with life extension sciences it will be in our lifetime. Military Convoy Artificial Tubes for Safe Travel There appears to be a way to control the safety of an entire convoy of logistical vehicles on a long highway, with no close air support and completely removed from satellite communication or AWACS Surveillance. Let me explain this concept. First picture a pentagon horizontal shaped tube, which extends along a highway, which starts at the ground. The supply road of travel would be in the middle of the tube. Now then, a vehicle in the back would have a laser system, which would be facing forward in a slightly increasing perspective angle to encompass several hundred yards as it approached the first third of the front of the convoy. UAV Acoustic Apparatus for Insect Swarming Stimulus, part one Can we coax warms of Locusts to attack our enemies? It appears we can do this by way of directional sound stimulus. Disrupting the enemy by guiding mass Locust Swarms towards communication posts, radar facilities, SAM Sites, Command and Control Stations, logistical sites, Major Infrastructures using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles equipped with sound devices which are typically used in agriculture in replacement of pesticides. Aluminum Oxide to Disrupt Laser Weapons In a defensive move to eliminate communication of an enemy, an offensive system using a chemical laser would be a good idea. In manufacturing we have lasers, which coat materials so they can be combined or heat-treated in the application process. This process of depositing coatings by lasers is known in manufacturing as Direct Metal Deposition (DMD) is a generative laser process. A Tuned Bio-Field and a New Definition of Consciousness: Part 1 I rarely hear about the role of the Heart or the power of Love as relevant determinants of human health or spirituality. This was particularly highlighted at a recent energy psychology conference in which a keynote presentation on the topic of Enlightenment seemed to focus almost entirely on achieving altered states of consciousness. I could feel my heart crying out inside me how incomplete this felt. Whispering Windows For Observation Decks of ISS and Moon Colonies Talking glass, which was featured recently in the famous Tom Cruise Movie "Minority Report" where advertising would spring to life and communicate with the actor; is not new science. In fact it has been around since the 1940's and some believe that the ghost of Lincoln, which was discussed in the biographies of Richard Nixon as being in the White House when looking at his picture on the wall was Whispering Windows Technology. In other words unfortunately ghosts do not exist in the white house at all. These technologies where called "Terfonal Devices" and were developed by scientists at the University of Iowa and were primarily used to enhance sonar capabilities. Today you can buy a small personal device for your mirror at home to tell you that you look great or use the mirror as a speaker for your favorite music. Locusts To Help Make Energy From Bio Waste, part III If we bring the locusts to a feasting area of green cut up bio-waste to allow them to turn that into methane and protein, then we will be able to win the game. We must first limit the areas for egg laying so we do not end up with red-goo syndrome and runaway locust populations. This can be done by; pancake stacking, similar to bread racks moist sand in trays, about 4 inches thick and ten inches apart. Sprinkled with grass clippings like a light snow or dust upon the ground. Once the Adult females have laid their egg pods they have fulfilled their biological mission and need as per their genetic software code and will of course need to repeat this every six weeks or so. These little fulfilled species will be happy and we as humans get the best of all worlds, protein, energy and solving of a plight upon the earth. Acoustic Transducers and Light Waves for VSTOL, a Concept Is it possible to use many acoustic transducers underneath an aircraft in a crisscross fashion to make the air much thicker. Almost like a platform that a VSTOL aircraft using low pressure could use to push off of? Although the amount of energy to be required to do this might be substantial; it seems to be possible. Submarine Propulsion and Internet web sources Let us discuss the patent for the Submarine, which is now in the public domain, not that any foreign governments ever cared since they have been building them for years. Since my Grandfather built the first Ring Gyro at Stanford Research years back, I think it wise to discuss these things in a modern context. The device he built is now called a Laser Ring Gyro Inertia Guidance system which is not nearly the size of the original the first one ever built by my Grandfather was six feet in diameter and six feet high and was used in a submarine after it was perfected. Today you can make one in a small box with a computer chip about 3 inches by three inches. Proving Moore's Law in more ways than one. So if you were going to build a submarine right now how would you build it? What would power it? What would be its limitations on performance? Could it also fly? Go on land? Who would you pay to build it? How fast could it go? Well we could use a Hydrogen fuel Cell, actually that has already been done and by the way it works fine. No more, Red Octobers, here is some history leading up to this discussion you may find rather interesting. Drought Worsened in Some States in 2004; 2005 will be very telling The drought of the West appears to be the worst in over 500 years. This is what the scientists at the U.S. Geological Survey are now saying and we have been reading in America's Newspapers. Visual Limits of the Human Brain Processing Speed Visual limits of the human brain and the visual processing time is quite evident. This why animals have camouflage skin, humans get headaches at trade shows and why video or game players will be the fighter pilots of the future. Mars is not hollow; is it? Is Mars Hollow? We are pretty sure it is not, but no one can be certain however we might soon know. The reason such a question is asked is because of questions about the Earth and the time it takes for sound waves to travel through it. And the speed of the spin rate of Mars, the question of moons is interesting and a few other interesting a recent discoveries. Here is one of the thoughts on the matter. By bouncing waves off the polar ice caps this can be proven or disproven; Smart Dust and Virtual Keyboards Using Smart Dust which is sprinkled onto a rock it maybe possible to type information into a small computer or PDA very rapidly. This could be quite handy for many things such as; Search and Rescue, Fire Fighting, Civil Air Patrol, Hikers and Mountain Climbers and of course military applications. Think for a second the possibilities for Net Centric Warfare for Special Forces Troops. But how exactly can all this work? Well, simple really, you find a flat rock and spinkle your micro-electro-mechanical "Smart Dust and then put on a set of glasses which has a little clip on lens which has a grid pattern of a key board. Then you move your fingers across the virtual keyboard as if typing onto the rock. It is quite easy to use actually because your eyes see it as if it is real on the rock and the glasses you are wearing interpret each tap onto the pressure sensitive smart dust as a strike. The data is then put into a small computer you wear connected to the glasses by a wire. The data is then sent through a hot or helmet and uploaded directly to the satellite. The Wages of Science In the United States, Congress approved, last month, increases in the 2003 budgets of both the National Institutes of Health and National Science Foundation. America is not alone in - vainly - trying to compensate for imploding capital markets and risk-averse financiers. Dream Therapy and Learning thru Human Hibernation Want to learn a new language? Would you like to earn a PhD in Physics; perfect your backstroke tennis swing, golf finesse or fly-fishing techniques, while you sleep? While, your immune system catches your body back up on your lack of exercise, fitness and proper diet? How about if I told you, that you most likely will shed about 20-25 lbs of extra weight while all this is going on? Well, if we further develop our sleep research, human hibernation studies and mind or brain advances we will be able to do all this and more in the near future, perhaps less than 5-years. Movin On: Taking Transhumanism in Stride Back in the seventies, we watched "The Six Million Dollar Man", a popular television show about a trained agent who was critically injured and given the gift of technology--bionic legs and super vision. Weather Control and Creation to Use as a Screen for Troop Advancement Creating a Hurricane using a Space based laser array to heat up surface waters when conditions are right. We are quite familiar with marine life and the performance abilities of sharks, dolphins, penguins, fish, alligators, etc. Mankind is quite fascinated by marine life and often tries to use these observations to create devices to serve him. Mystical Physicists INSPIRATIONAL COMMENTS: Trojan World War TROJAN WORLD WAR: - Homer said there were nineteen battles and we know there was a 400 year dark age that followed this enigmatic period which has almost been immortalized in fairy tales about wooden horses and fair maidens. We have given evidences of white men in the Americas at places like Poverty Point and the mouth of the Amazon (there is much more in the 'mysteries' section) as well as allover the world. The victor of the battle in America for the gold or copper and other things like cocaine may well have been the people who stayed behind and decided to have nothing to do with their Empire-building aristocrats back home. Who actually won this war is beyond my ability to discern. It seems the Phoenicians and Berbers or 'Sea People' operated as pirates for many years to come. They had been trying to establish some kind of political stability to conduct reasonable business from the time of the Hyksos Kings in 1800 BC. Chimpanzees and Humans a lot in common Those who study chimpanzees are often amazed completely with the abilities of that species. They tend to be able to raise their level of awareness and concentration to a completely higher level than we ever believed. Mankind comes with such feelings of superiority and belief that humans are some divine creation and are superior in every way, yet we are finding we are not as alone as we once thought with regards to intelligence of carbon based bipods. I wish to recommend a book to you, which will help illustrate my points: |
