Magnetic Propulsion for GI Joe?
Thought of the day. I talked to an old guy who gave me this idea, he wanted to create a magnet propelled anti-gravity and directional control craft. MPAGDCV. Here is the thought a platform with a magnet attracting steel front a rear panel s placed on a platform with a seat. A ring of a gyro is placed with it's axis on the CG-Center of gravity. The ring spins around the seat platform with a magnet on the apex of the arch in front and on the back is a magnet faced backwards which repels. As the ring spins the forward momentum flips the magnet over on each side depending on the direction of intended travel. So it either repels from the back or front pushing the craft forward or backwards. Yes it will wobble a little bit in pitch but wait for the rest of this before making a decision. Next a Ring is installed which travels clockwise over and under the platform with the steel piece attached to the bottom of the seat and the roll bar on top. As the ring swings around it is repelled from below and the magnet flips over and is attracted there fore the platform goes up. Which would in essence defy gravity and now you have an anti-gravity platform you can fly around in. If the rings which travel around have steel re-enforcement you can build a third ring which is attracted or repelled from the outer two rings as they spin and the magnets on the third ring flip over as you choose any direction to travel or turn to. Also assisting in the isolating of the inherent instability of the craft at slow speeds of climb and lifting when the rings are going slow. Later you could build a layered sphere with this control mechanism with electro-magnets firing at the intended direction of travel and repelling in the opposite direction. The sphere would go where ever the hell you pointed it in a 3D plane and would move very fast and work really well in dense liquid like water. It could be built out of composite and circuit boards and heat dampening devises. It would also work in space. It could create it own energy too as it traveled in dense are by use of the friction spinning a giant trickle charge devise to continually give energy to the firing mechanism and battery system. Single direction objects could really go fast since there would be little weight needed for the propulsion mechanism. Making a Lightening Storm? Here is a very basic concept idea/plan to harvest energy from Lightening. It is done in an artificial chamber, simulating weather in the atmosphere, but under exact and controlled circumstances; still in the incubation-thinking phase. It has incredible additional possibilities for all kinds of applications. I call it; AWCS- Project Artificial Weather Control Simulator. Should We Allow The Genetic Modification of Insects? Some scientists argue over creation, intelligent design and evolution. Others argue did man create god or did god create man. Let us discuss our scientific advancements. When does Man cross the line and become a god? Or a creator or modifier of life to such a degree that he has changed the entire current scenario? One interesting development has been to make corn better for ethanol, simply modify the corn more. Call it Super Corn, which uses little water to grow, has high yields and can be used to make plastics, fuel and/or feed the world. Global Dumbing? I am beginning to wonder if scientists have been getting it all wrong. All this time, people have been worried about the Ozone, or a giant asteroid, or some breakout of a bio-hazardous agent by a terrorist organization being the doom of mankind. We have spent all this time looking outward instead of inward towards ourselves. Surgical Biomaterials and Tissue Regeneration Technologies Plants, invertebrate animals, amphibians and even reptiles have the ability to regenerate lost or damaged body parts. In the case of lizards, for example, this is a defensive mechanism. When a predator attacks, the lizard can break off its own tail as a means of distraction. While the predator is busy eating the tail, the lizard escapes and regenerates the body part later on. Mammals can regenerate some skin and liver tissue, but our regenerative abilities stop there. Unlike lizards, which have nature to thank for their regenerative capabilities, we are dependent on scientists, physicians and the business community to develop new technologies that will help us repair and replace damaged tissue. Mini UAV and MAV Power Plants A set up of harnessed Lithium Polymer Cells can be the answer to mini-UAVs. When we compare the voltage output and capacity of wire harness systems and compare the weight of LiPoly cells to NiCd or NiMH cells you can achieve extremely better results than the average fuel and output on a ounce per ounce basis. Cord Blood and Its Uses Cord blood is the blood left in the umbilical cord and placenta after the birth of the child and is collected after the cord has been cut off. The umbilical cord is routinely discarded with the placenta after a child is born. It is also called placental blood. Cord blood has lots of blood producing stem cells which can be frozen and later used for transplants. Cord blood is genetically unique to the child and the family. Now researchers have found that it can be used to treat many diseases. The Bill Clinton Neuron And The Sweat Neuron In the world of science, there is excited speculation about recent discoveries of individual neurons in the brain, with striking capabilities. They had discovered a neuron, which fired on recognition of just one special face. Scientists spotted this using microelectrodes, which could identify the firing of a single neuron. Buried deep in the amygdala of a female patient, they discovered the so-called "Bill Clinton" neuron. The cell fired on recognizing three very different images of the former President; a line drawing of a laughing Clinton; a formal painting depicting him; and a photograph of him in a crowd. The cell remained mute when the patient viewed images of other politicians and celebrities. In other patients, scientists found similar cells that responded selectively to actors, including Jennifer Anniston, Brad Pitt, and Halle Berry. Active Aerial Minefields Is it possible to build an active aerial minefield to protect our troops and in-country logistical supply lines? The answer is probably yes. The Germans attempted to use hot air balloons with charges on them. It did not work. However today we have many newer technologies that if put together it might be possible to actually build an active aerial mine field. For instance what about a "Metal Storm" with lightweight munitions inside hanging from Balloons. Aerodynamics of a Flying Disk or Flying Sphere Aerodynamics of a flying sphere. It has been said that in the future we maybe flying around anti-gravity type spheres, but this does not mean it will not have to deal with relative wind in our own atmosphere. So what are the aerodynamics associated with sphere? Well believe it or not we can borrow much information from sports. Think of a baseball flying out of the field and into the stands signifying a Home Run or even a Grand Slam. Increasing Lightening Storm Intensity and Direction Control of Strikes Using four UAVs in formation with one C-130 Hercules Aircraft or 747 with onboard laser: Robotic MAV- Micro Air Vehicle Based on an Organic Humming Bird Model MAV Micro Air Vehicle Based on Organic Hummingbird Model. There is no more interesting bird than a humming bird. Some humming bird species migrate, 500 miles? Wow. Efficient little bird isn't it? It's wings move between 60-80 flap cycles per minute. We have produced a drawing for a little MAV humming bird and found a suitable motor. It spins 15,000 rpm. Check out this little Brushless Motor? Precognition Shock to Prevent Bullet Strike It is a pretty well known fact and has been proven that the body seems to pre-adjust to changes in advance of events by a second or two. For instance there have been studies of test subjects with finger sensors, which would show the subjects pulse or adrenaline spiked right before they were to be shocked. Those of us who know about this have found ourselves in competitive sports with an almost uncanny intuition. Of course this favors the athlete who senses it and takes advantage of this just before an event on the playing field. Super Volcano: Can The Disaster Be Prevented? It maybe possible to apply a rogue wave theory and some mathematical formulas of fluid dynamics to the problem of superplumes (theory) of volcanic activity to get them to erupt outside areas of high populations. This would be done by triggering events into the liquid magma underneath the surface. Would it be worth setting off four or five 50 Megaton nuclear detonations, if we knew we could save a Tokyo, Shanghai, Seattle or Mexico City? Well know you see the validity of the debate. The Fall and Fall of the p-Zine http://home.wuliweb.com/index.shtml UAVs and The Future Enhancements of Tele-Robotics Today we have already available UAVs, which will soon have the capacity of operating together in swarms, controlled from another nearby aircraft. We have UAVs, which can be flown by a pilot sitting at a desk more than 1000 miles away. We have trucks, which have virtual dashboards, which send back complete data to dispatchers and a similar version for aircraft, which allows one to fly the other. The Harmonic The Harmonic The Wages of Science In the United States, Congress approved, last month, increases in the 2003 budgets of both the National Institutes of Health and National Science Foundation. America is not alone in - vainly - trying to compensate for imploding capital markets and risk-averse financiers. Humans and Bees Go Back a Long Way The ancient history of of man and bees has been writen about for thousands of years. Specifically the human history and the use of Bee's Wax is truly fascinating. We have often been asked where wax comes from? Well there are many types of Waxes. Bees wax has been around for a while. There are many mentions of beeswax in historic writing such as the myth where Icarus son of Daedalus put on wings of wax and as he flew too close to the sun, it melted and Icarus fell to his death. The father with more experience flew closer to the ground and made it to Italy. Philosophical Discussion of Distribution Systems To properly understand marketing one needs to understand the natural march of distribution from a colony of ants to Wal-Mart's Distribution System. Efficient systems must be designed or worked out by nature over thousands if not millions of years of evolution. It is about getting it done and using all your synergies to maximize efficiencies. It doesn't really matter what you are distributing or what industry. Think about it for second. Space Travel - Human Innate Bonding to ELF ? Extremely Low Frequencies of Planet Earth Human innate bonding to ELF ? Extremely Low Frequencies of planet Earth will be a problem in space travel for the future. How do we know this? We know because insanity seems to very often coincide with mental illness. And the human beings which travel great distances will be subjected to many other problems such as; radiation, calcium breakdown, Closter phobia, space weather, loneliness, food rationing, lack of sex, stir craziness, etc. |
