Making a Lightening Storm?
Here is a very basic concept idea/plan to harvest energy from Lightening. It is done in an artificial chamber, simulating weather in the atmosphere, but under exact and controlled circumstances; still in the incubation-thinking phase. It has incredible additional possibilities for all kinds of applications. I call it; AWCS- Project Artificial Weather Control Simulator. We are conducting this project to explore the possibilities of weather control to provide water to drought areas of our Planet where human population needs additional and stable year round fresh water supplies. In addition to this we are looking into collecting the energy generated by Cumuli Nimbus Cloud formations, which produce lightning. Heat in the chamber is made by bombardment of two laser beams. If this works it can be replicated in the atmosphere for weather control. Eventually energy collection too. We also see the military applications. We will use a Particle Laser Beam, which will intersect with another Particle Beam or High frequency Laser or Chemical laser. Lightning Rods strategically placed will collect energy. And we will have an Escape Door for rapid Barometric Pressure change Cumuli Nimbus Cloud. We bombard the first particle beam with another beam and thus creating heat in a chamber set with the proper and most likely barometric pressure for thunderclouds to form. We then allow these clouds to form and make lightening. The lightening is attracted to the lightening rods, which have the specific charge necessary. This provides constant electricity. Trap door is set with vents to constantly monitor the barometric pressure and allow for an escape of the system by dumping air to flow in or out to modify the circumstances during tests. We have also devised a Hamster wheel type devise where the beams are sent in at an angle from between two or three in series wheels with reflectors on them which send the light across the diameter of the wheels where they again are reflected to the center and other side and so on, until they heat up. This system is driven by the electricity derived from the lightening, this would in fact be a perpetual motion machine and the wheel would keep spinning due to the heat it makes trying to escape and the direction that the mirror reflectors were angled to reflect the beams back into themselves. Air would come into the chamber and be sucked in by the spinning wheels and form heat and mixed with very little mist would produce the clouds. The entire system would be about the size of two barns at a normal ranch house. Will Clones Run the World? In the US it appears that we have decided that "life is not for sale" and that the cloning debate is over and our scientists are forbidden by law from attempting to clone humans. In other countries they are currently trying and will most likely continue to try until they get it right. Will those countries which move forward in human cloning be able to force their will on free markets and rise to power faster since they will have the abilities of entangled brains and abilities of basic thought transfer? Such skills will be quite an advantage indeed. Will such countries have stronger corporations and create wealth faster than our corporations? Will the multi-national conglomeration corporations of the World continue to be so large it will not be significant until way into the future? Will more countries become run completely by super dynasty clone families, will they run the world? Flying a Beach Ball UFO Recently some NASA Scientists were able to fly a MAV; Micro Air Vehicle using a laser to power it and then chase it around the room with the laser beam? Sounds like kids stuff, yet is has some incredible applications for other things. For instance we could use Whispering Windows and Talking Glass Technologies to propel helium filled beach ball. Here is how I propose we do this. First we put a small whispering windows transducer in the center of the proposed flying beach ball to excite the helium molecules, we then send a directional sound wave (yes this technology exists) Fire Escape System Concept What if in the event of a fire the building system started putting out instructions using sound waves of the best possible escape route? Using the pictures on the wall and windows to guide trapped occupants and guide them to the safest exit? It is all possible now due to an old technology which is now being used thru a transfer into the public domain. Smoke inhalation is the number one cause of death in fires. Often when bodies are removed from charred buildings the bodies are not even burned. Secrets of The Mathematical Symmetry of Nature and Patterns of Erosion As scientists and theorists study patterns, design, chaos, complexity they often turn to nature for examples and there is plenty of examples in nature too. The stripes on a zebra, patterns on a butterfly, spider webs, leafs on a tree, scales on a fish, seashells, brain waves, muscle structure, texture of granite, spider webs, Earth cycles, waves on the ocean, wind flow, clouds in the sky, Rainbows, Solar System, structure of a meteorite and even DNA itself. Army Mobile Command Center for UAV Launch After visiting the Denver RC Modeler Club one day as they practiced for the national finals in PHX that year, we attempted a touch and go landing on our Blitz Mobile, which is a 74 foot long NASCAR type truck and trailer. Probably nothing more than a Fighter Pilots son from the cold war wanting to re-invent the aircraft carrier concept on a almost nano scale? We were successful on doing a touch and bounce on the top of the trailer without too much difficulty. It appears that a tractor trailer rig specially designed with panels on top which folded out ward to extend the length of the flat surface on top would be adequate to launch and recover many hundred small UAVs. These UAVs could be launched one after another to form swarms for surveillance or to overwhelm the enemy. We did not have any automous UAVs with us on this day of testing and proving concept, but we did use a model aircraft, which was large enough to prove it will work. Here is the unit we used: Does the Earth Have Hollow Areas Inside it? Some skeptics of the geology text books we had in school theorize that the Earth maybe hollow. They say; the Earth is probably hollow and since it has had 5.5 billion years to cool down, it probably is not hot any longer in the center and that the effect of gravity has loosened up the center and pulled it outward along with the centripetal force of the Earth's rotation. If it is hollow, what is inside? Is it a vacuum, void of air or does it have it's own atmosphere of gas? What type of gas. Interesting if you are referring to 22% oxygen we have in our atmosphere, if this is your question; yes it is void of what we consider air. You most likely could not breath it or could you? But just because humans cannot breath it does not mean another form of life could. Crop Circles and Genetic Knowledge The crop circle enigma is not always a hoax. I am not able to see how someone could do a massive design overnight in the cases where the plants have their stems broken from within. Yes, that is the case in what I consider the real crop circles. The wheat or other plants have the stalk exploded from within and the stalks can be bent at a distance up the stalk which would not happen if the use of weighty rollers was applied to them. Thus we are able to speculate many things but I see no reason for it to be aliens or at least not a visit in physical form by extra-terrestrials. Energy Aware and Waste Wise Constantly bombarded with negative information about the environment, finances and natural resources? Feeling overwhelmed? Each and every one of us can do something to help our world - starting right where we are, right now. Though not everyone can afford to donate cash or time to a cause, there are endless tactics that will decrease an individual's contribution to the landfill and their resource consumption. Saving People in Disaster Crisis, Concept So often when we see huge Natural Disasters there are many people killed, but for everyone who perishes there are 5-10 people injured; many very seriously. So often too the region of the world were the disaster occurs does not have enough hospital beds, medical professionals or the right equipment needed to help save those lives. Well, there is a new discovery, which might change all that. Mark Roth and his colleagues have made a rather fascinating discovery; they have found a way to put mice into a suspended animation state. They used a very toxic gas; hydrogen sulfide, which when used in smaller amounts puts these small mammals into temporary hibernation. Similar to a bear when it hibernates. June 2005: Weather Forecasts for Vacationers If Johannes Kepler, the renowned 17th century astronomer and discoverer of the planetary laws of motion, could speak from the heavenlies, he might have a few words of wisdom to share with the National Weather Service. Although Kepler's name is not normally associated with meteorology, he was quite the weather forecaster in his day. His first claim to fame, by the way, was not due to his discovery of those planetary laws, but because of his accurate long-range weather forecast of the severe winter that put Styermark, Germany on ice in 1593. Older C-130 Hercules Aircraft Problematic We have certainly seen around the world many Lockheed C-130 Aircraft, which have had problems over the last five years. Many of these aircraft have in excess of 100,000 total time airframe hours on them. The British lost on in Iraq, one crashed in Germany. Several have been lost fighting fires. The USMC lost one and the USAF lost one. Many of the older A, B and C models have been committed to moth balls, but many are still being flown as we need them, they are superb work horses and capable of unbelievable feats. The newest versions of the C-130 are hardly the same aircraft with many new features, engines, airframe enhancements fan blade style props and a completely redesigned wing; thanks to NASA and Lockheed research and development. Luckily my brother is a USMC pilot in command on a C-130 and he is able to fly the newer versions. Equipment for the Amateur Astronomer ? Part 1 Binoculars and telescopes and other astronomy equipment and accessories are the meat and potatoes of amateur astronomy. A good pair of binoculars is what introduced me to the pleasures of stargazing many moons ago and only after a couple of years scanning the skies did I graduate to a telescope. That was one of the department store 60mm telescopes we're all warned about, but my folks didn't know any better, and to a 12-year old kid, it opened up the universe. Para Trooper Gliders With Angle of Attack Motor or Crank Para Trooper Gliders were very popular in WW II, they were used by both the Axis and Allied Forces. Some of these gliders were huge in size and the Germans had one which had took three bombers to get it off the ground along with two-four rockets used in take off. I believe there is a Wings Discovery Channel Documentary on this. The allied forces also used such tactics, which are well documented and some links are provided as well as pictures below this topic. Troubleshooting Pump Problems the Easy Way In any problem analysis, we have to specify the problem, check whether there is any deviation from the normal condition, identify the possible causes, evaluate the possible causes and then confirm the true cause. Acoustic Transducers To Detect And Eliminate Incoming Mortar Rounds There maybe a way to use acoustic transducers to pin-point incoming enemy ordinance such as mortar rounds in order to shoot them down. Directional sound waves from acoustic transducers set at specific locations around friendly locations can create artificial barriers, which the incoming ordinance will have to pass to reach its target and thus be detected and triangulated or quadrangulated for interception. Launching 400 UAVs from a Transport Plane How to launch hundreds of UAVs for an autonomous mission from a transport plane. As we watched the MOAB parachute bomb drop out of a C-130 onto the desert and above the tunnels below into Afghanistan, it left the world in awe. Now then this parachute concept has another idea. Launching UAVs, hundreds of them in swarms of 25 to 50, to overwhelm the opponent. Smart Dust and Virtual Keyboards Using Smart Dust which is sprinkled onto a rock it maybe possible to type information into a small computer or PDA very rapidly. This could be quite handy for many things such as; Search and Rescue, Fire Fighting, Civil Air Patrol, Hikers and Mountain Climbers and of course military applications. Think for a second the possibilities for Net Centric Warfare for Special Forces Troops. But how exactly can all this work? Well, simple really, you find a flat rock and spinkle your micro-electro-mechanical "Smart Dust and then put on a set of glasses which has a little clip on lens which has a grid pattern of a key board. Then you move your fingers across the virtual keyboard as if typing onto the rock. It is quite easy to use actually because your eyes see it as if it is real on the rock and the glasses you are wearing interpret each tap onto the pressure sensitive smart dust as a strike. The data is then put into a small computer you wear connected to the glasses by a wire. The data is then sent through a hot or helmet and uploaded directly to the satellite. How to Build a Mechanical Bullet Which Turns A Mechanical bullet, which will turn in flight is well within our technical capabilities. The premise is to have a bullet, which is preset to turn a corner can be achieved thru a small gear setting on the bullet or a preset finger on the barrel or in the chamber which can be dialed in prior to discharge. Picture a bullet and shell, directly above the shell on near the bottom of the bullet would be a small gear, which could be turned with your finger nail, each gear indentation would be equivalent to approximately 10 yards, written on the bullet shell would be a scale embossed, stamped or laser printed. The soldier would estimate from his night vision goggles, weapon sight or head gear the distance from his position where the turn needed to occur so the bullet would turn. Paternity Testing Regulation: Help or Hindrance? Introduction 4D Mapping of Mars Will Find Life Let us discuss the mapping of Mars and some thoughts on the matter. We have mapped the Earth by using Satellites and have a complete GIS mapping with complete mineral deposits, underground oil areas, volcanic plumes and even huge natural water aquifers. We have also done this with the US Navy and mapped the entire terrain of the Ocean Floor. At first it was secret and eventually given to scientists and the World. Today we even map the ocean elevations to find gravity anomalies and much of this data helps us with El Nino, weather predictions, ocean-surface temperatures and to learn about gravity effects and variations. |
