Surviving the Tsunami--Animals and Their Connection with the Spiritual World
When the Tsunami struck Asia and East Africa on December 26, 2004 more than 220,000 humans died, but amazingly the wild animals escaped without harm. Two chained elephants managed to pull free of their chains before the Tsunami wave arrived and they ran to higher ground for safety. Giant waves washed floodwaters up to 2 miles inland at Yala National Park in Sri Lanka's biggest wildlife reserve and home to hundreds of elephants, buffalo, leopards, deer, jackals and monkeys. "The strange thing is we haven't recorded any dead animals," H.D. Ratnayake, deputy director of the national Wildlife Department, stated. There's a good chance the wildlife knew trouble was on the way. History is littered with tales about animals acting weirdly before national disasters. Do animals have a sixth sense? Are they more connected to the spiritual world than we humans are? The answer is YES! And I can prove it! My only son, Kyle, died in an auto accident in 1996 and he has taught me that all animals are very aware of the spiritual world and that the spiritual world plays an integral part in human and animal lives. Two months after Kyle's death a psychic, Mary Jo McCabe, told me that Kyle would be able to bring animals where they had never been seen before. "I am able to bring to you the animals because they are aware of my existence in the energy realm just as they were while I was on your side?animals of nature are more in tune with us that you are," Kyle relayed to me. Skeptical? Two days later a one-legged blackbird was spotted hopping 5 feet from my husband and me. - Seventeen raccoons were on my small patio-standing on the chairs, the tabletops and in all my potted plants! - Two ducks were standing on our hot driveway (no food was there) on May 18th, Kyle's father's birthday. I had previously asked Kyle to acknowledge his father in some way. - Three years later, on April 8th, I spotted two more ducks standing on the driveway. I knew Kyle brought them, but couldn't figure out why. After two hours-it dawned on me. I felt so stupid. It was my husband's and my 39th wedding anniversary! We had never forgotten it before. Because of Kyle's ability to remind us, I got to go out and party that night! - The pizza deliveryman arrived at our front door one night and asked, "Do you mind if I ask you a question? Why is there a horse standing in your front yard?" Jim and I laughed. I had always joked that Kyle would bring us a horse one day! Creating Our Own Emotional Chaos It's amazing how - even when we're working from a "higher vision" - we still see the people, the events and the circumstances in our lives with the same perspective: our own! I personally object to their use of the term spirituality, because they are decidedly Christian oriented. For them to replace the word 'spirituality' with the word 'Christianity' would be a lot more accurate. I do feel that the good people at Sojourners do have very wonderful intentions. I just wish they didn't feel the need to route all their efforts through Christianity, to the exclusion of billions of the earth's inhabitants. The Winds of Change Humanity is entering a very critical time in its path of evolution. The winds of change began to blow over eighteen years ago at the event you call Harmonic Convergence but the only ones who felt this at first were those many call star-seeds or light workers. Today almost everyone on the planet is being swept up into them. The third dimension world of duality is beginning to be blown away so to speak. Christian Love Actually, loving does not take any great effort on our part because it is not something we must put forth great effort to achieve. When God enters our heart, soul, and mind, love is spontaneously produced because He is love. It is a spiritual attainment. It is the result of a cause and the cause is this: God loved us first (1 John 4:19). Dead Man Walking One of my favorite movies is "The Green Mile". A memorable scene was when the presumably guilty murderer was being brought into the jail and they announced his arrival as "the dead man walking." His sentence was already passed on him even before he was properly accused. As humans, we tend to judge others just by the way they look. Our carnal eyes can only see from the inside out, and are blind to seeing what's on the inside of us! In our own mind's eye, we are blameless, but woe to the other person who doesn't meet our perfect standards. Surviving Separation: A Cinderella Story I want to tell you a love story. It's actually about a girl named Cinderella. I'm sure you're familiar with the fairy tale but I'm going to tell you the TRUE story. Why The Fulfillment Of Your Vision Delays When God first unveils a business or ministry vision that He wants you to fulfill, it is often the case that there is a long delay or wait until the vision comes to pass. The reason the Lord has given you the revelation now is so that He can gain your attention and to equip you for the work ahead. The Lord is patient and well organized and will not move you into your appointment until your disposition matches the revelation. In other words, there is a work ahead of you that requires your character, understanding, knowledge, skills and experience to be prepared for the task.
