The World Revolves Around Me
Lately I have become aware of a new truth that is formulating in my life. After years of study in New Age and New Thought a new awareness of self is emerging. I created this site to pass on any new wisdom I may have gained to those that may receive benefit from it. Many times over the last year that wisdom has been reflected back to me by others that I have brought into my life either physically or from this site. I am here alone; I have created my world and the circumstances of it. I am talking to myself and bringing awareness to myself in all that I do, I do for self. I am planting seeds along the way and return to reap the harvest every now and then. Those that I believe I am helping are helping me. They in truth are me in different physical bodies. They are my soul mates that are here in an exchange program that we are involved with. We interact with each other and enter each other's world from time to time as needed. There is no one pulling my strings and no one I have to answer to. In a world of worlds, I am the creator, the painter and sculpture, the poet and author. It is all about me and my purpose, it is selfish and purposeful. I am in this world to experience a physical aspect of myself and I draw all the things that I need into my life in order to experience it. The others in my life exist only in my mind and are manifested and experienced physically for my purposes. Because they do not exist and are actually my own thoughts made physical, whatever I believe I am doing for them or to them I am actually doing for self or to self. It is therefore in my own best interests to treat them as I would want to be treated, to give honestly, kindly, respectfully, and with unconditional love because I am really giving to the only one that really matters. The one that is experiencing those things is the one that is giving and receiving, it is giving to self what self wishes to experience. Every stranger is no longer a stranger once brought into my life. It is self bringing a gift or opportunity to self that I want to experience. All experiences are good experiences once I see that side of it. There are no strangers just different aspects of myself returning to self to remind me of my purpose and that I may be moving away from or back to intention. When I stand back and have a look at this from the perspective of the silent observer, I can see that I do not exist as a whole but as the sum of all my parts. To know myself I must welcome all my parts and receive their gifts of awareness. A new truth or awareness is formulating in my life and that is that I am not altogether here and that I am in the process of creating myself. Roy E. Who Is He? "What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is he?" --MATTHEW 22:42, NCV A Ministry Of One Each of us has far more potential to serve the Highest Cause, and each other, than we ever tap into. Many of us seeking to commit our lives to such service have, even if only briefly, considered leading or joining an established ministry - at least until the responsibilities associated with our real-world concerns reasserted themselves in our thoughts. How can we even begin to commit to a ministry service with all the work we currently do and all the responsibilities we have? Such a choice seems to be reserved for those with no families, no need to work (or a willingness to live in abject poverty for their cause) and none of the other demands on their time that most people have. I was agonizing over the same problems when the following question popped into my head: Do Good Luck Symbols, Charms, & Talismans Really Work? Symbols and symbolism are popular in almost every civilisation, culture and religion that has evolved on Earth. They are deeply ingrained in the way of our life itself. Symbols impact our subconscious mind and if their influences are strong enough, then they could stimulate confidence, effort and good outcomes. Whether we realize or not paintings, pictures, jewellery, statues, birds, animals and so forth have meanings and effect on us. A Life That Is Purpose Driven I started reading the book "The Purpose Driven Life" about 45 days ago. This book is written by Rick Warren. It is one of the best books I have ever read and It has changed my life. It is a really good book and I am out there trying to get people to read it and acknowledge the difference it makes in your life. I had been waiting to read it since it first came out but I kept putting it off. It took my approximately 40 days to complete it and that is because he ( Rick Warren) wants you to sign a covenant with him stating that you will take that time to realize your life and path that God has chosen for you. I made the promise and the commitment and I took it to heart. I missed one day in reading that book and the very next day I read two chapters to make up for it. It does take you, going by his directions, approximately 40 days to complete. I started it around the time I wrote the article 40 days and 40 nights. 40 being represented in the bible and a significant number that God has used. I took the time to read this book every morning when I awoke, one chapter a day until I completed it. It has a lot of spiritual information and a lot of information period. I really loved it and I suggest everyone read it. I don't want to part with my book but I plan to buy at least three more for friends and family and have them pass it on. It is encouraging and enlightening. There are many things one will learn by reading what he has written and I feel it was totally God inspired. Life as the Ultimate Psychedelic Experience Life is just a journey. Princess Diana Oh, God. What Do I Do Now? Uh, oh. I'm in trouble now. I found God. Now what do I do with Him? When Bad Things Happen to Good People Why do bad things happen to good people? Surely this is a question all of us ask from time to time. Some of Jesus' listeners asked Him the same question. (Luke 13: 1-9). They brought up the recent news about some Galileans who had been cruelly offered as human sacrifices by Pilate; and about the tower that had fallen in one of the cities in which 18 innocent bystanders had been killed; and they wanted to know if these people's tragic deaths were due to their sins. A Celebration of Life As human beings it is inherent to want to self-actualize and build lives of deep profound meaning. This is what each of us came here to do. One way we celebrate life is by getting clear on who we are and what we are here to do. When we are clear, we are able to tap into our purpose and find our passion. I believe that we discover that purpose through our relationship with our spiritual nature. Every person was designed with a purpose in mind. Our passion comes from learning to trust God and letting life unfold. Its Not What You Know, Its What You Do Knowing what is right and what is wrong in your own inner consciousness is insufficient. It is not the knowing of truth that transforms a person; it is the doing of truth that has an impact on you and on the other people that you interact with. 5 Shortcuts to a Life of Charity Charity isn't the easiest virtue to master. And with St. Paul's warning that our good works mean nothing without charity, we see how important it is to practice. Here's a few practical ways to install charity into every day life. Living by Faith Five verses specify that we are to live by faith. How do you do that? It is like entering a black hole. Those who are in the blackness of night have to feel their way lest they fall into a pit or crash into things. Walking by faith is going through unknown territory. How can you feel comfortable navigating blind? It's like closing your eyes when you are driving at high speed on a congested highway. God! God ! You Must Feel to Heal! In my work with clients who have physical illnesses there is one consistent observation that I keep running up against. That is the inability to feel one's emotions. Soulstretch: Raising the Bar on Nobility and Nicety In the make-believe world, too, fiction and films are filled with flawed characters fighting their way to selfish goals. Pick up any book on how to write novels and short stories and you see the word "conflict" in bold. I Helped Exorcize a Spirit Actually I have 'helped' exorcize spirits more than once but this particular one could have beeen taken by science to prove that exorcisms are not weird and do not need dogma or fear to be used with them. Love vs. Fear - Volume 18 Breaking with tradition, today's article comes from the 9-23-04 edition of Sojomail. Sojomail is produced by Sojourners; an evangelical journal, and calls itself a 'weekly email-zine of spirituality, politics and culture.' I personally object to their use of the term spirituality, because they are decidedly Christian oriented. For them to replace the word 'spirituality' with the word 'Christianity' would be a lot more accurate. I do feel that the good people at Sojourners do have very wonderful intentions. I just wish they didn't feel the need to route all their efforts through Christianity, to the exclusion of billions of the earth's inhabitants. Jesus Christ: One Can Reach God Only Through Him - Is this Statement Correct? Catch the express or the super fast bullet train. If we are able to reach our goal the purpose is served. Talk of Jesus Christ, Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, or Prophet Mohammed... all reached the goal they had established in their life. The goal of all (including Jesus Christ) was the same... only the paths were different. Slow Leak In God's world, everything can be used as an anology to His Word. I'm using this small unassuming small leak in my tire as an example of how if it is let go, can cause a spiritual wreck. Hard Times Can Be Your Best Time Do you have a dream, but are waiting for "just the right time" to start working toward fulfilling it? Will you feel comfortable pursuing your dream only when everything in your life is working? Consider this: Gilligan Finds Jesus! One day Gilligan ventures off as usual into thejungle. After a few hours the Skipper knowsGilligan's absent-minded behavior, gets a littleworried and goes trotting off looking for him. After a while the Skipper hears Gilligan's squeakyvoice in the distance yelling, "SKIPPER, SKIPPER,SKIPPER HELP!!!!" |
