String of Pearls -- A Call for Intercessors
My wife had a vision recently of a string of pearls, adorning a bride at her wedding. The "pearls" were the pastors in a given region. Not all the pastors, but those who are allowing the Lord to "string them together" in unity. In the vision, she saw these pearls were "double-knotted" -- that's where each pearl on a necklace is knotted on both sides so if the string ever breaks, pearls don't slide off to be lost... At most, only the one pearl where the string breaks may be lost. Interpretation: Pastors are the "Pearls"! The pastors are vital to your region, and must be upheld at all costs. These "pastor pearls" are spiritual gates, as in Rev. 21:21 "The 12 gates were 12 pearls, each gate made of a single pearl..." There are 12 gates/pearls because there are 12 Apostles. That doesn't mean there are only 12 "pastors" in your region in unity, nor does it mean that these are "five-fold apostles" either. That these gates/pearls are the Twelve Apostles, points to our pastors as ministers of God's spiritual authority over your region... Not "apostles" who inappropriately "control" the lives of others, but as spiritual authority maintaining and extending the Victory over the principalities and powers in your region. Also, these "pastor pearls" are "gates" into the Presence of God for your region. Now, everyone knows a pearl isn't the size of one of Heaven's "gates" and if it were, no person could walk through one because they're quite solid. But this Heavenly "pearl" represents that Suffering which Releases God's Mercy -- and every pastor who is led by the Spirit of God, is a "suffering servant" through whom God's "mercy" is released into the lives of God's children. Through honoring our pastors, every Child of God who desires a greater release into the Life and Presence of Christ can find it through the shepherd God has given to each of us. Knots help keep the pastors lifted up into the places God has put them. The "knots" are "tied" by the prayers and intercessions of the saints...but the "knots" are not the prayers themselves. The "knots" are "Honor". Believers who intercede for their pastors bring honor both to God and to these servants who have suffered for the sake of bringing Christ to your region. As Believers continue to pray for their pastors, they fulfill the role of Aaron and Hur who honored the God of Moses by upholding Moses' authority (his staff, held in his hands -- Ex. 17.12.) A necklace adorning the Bride! The bride in the vision is the "Bride of Christ"! The unity of the pearls, each held in place in honor by the Believers, is part of the Preparation of the Bride in your region! The Prophetic Promise The vision is that of a string of pearls, strung together and each one double-knotted. The Lord is setting before us a strategic opportunity (Gk. topos) -- a koinonia (a project "co-owned" by all who participate.) This is an opportunity to not only press into the Unity of Christ, but for Believers to uphold their pastors in power and authority and thereby release the Preparation of the Bride of Christ throughout this Age! The fact that we experience anxiety, worry, fear and doubt is clear indication that our ability is not always sufficient to handle life's hazards, difficulties and challenges. At the midpoint of the Tribulation, the Antichrist will seat himself in the Temple of God that will have to rebuilt by the Jewish people. He will proclaim himself to be God. This event is called the abomination of desolation by the prophet Daniel. Jesus Himself specifically refers to this event in the New Testament. Jesus says that once this event occurs, that His people are to literally run for the hills. Jesus says that the last three and half years of the Tribulation set off by the abomination of desolation will be the worst tribulation and time of trouble that the world has ever seen. He says that had these days not been shortened by God the Father, that no flesh would be saved.I feel Jesus is implying that man probably would have destroyed the earth at or shortly after the Battle of Armageddon. The Antichrist starts to lose control of his empire. Other nations come against him in the battle of Armageddon. With the availability of nuclear weapons, my guess is that the Antichrist may have been willing to "hit the button" if he thought he was going to lose his empire. If he hits the button, chances are the other nations he is going to fight against will also be willing to hit the button, and you thus could end up in a full scale nuclear war. Have You Neglected This Righteous Cause Of God? As believers, we have a responsibility to care forthose who have been left without a bread winner, whichbegins with the responsibility of caring for our ownfamily and relatives who may be in distress. Reflections After The Tsunami Tragedy Over the last few months hundreds of thousands of people have reached out with genuine concern and hard cash towards the people of SE Asia. The tsunami was no respecter of a person's religion in an area where Muslims and Christians, Hindus and Buddhists, have been killed or traumatised. Our respective religions are an integral part of our self identity but so is the common spirituality that we share as human beings. Surely now is the time to reach out in a new way, with the same love and respect, in order to get to know one another better. Integral to this process is getting to know more about our different religions and learning how to honour each one. We need shared sacred space to help do this. Why do Humans Need a God? Many have asked why people need a God to cope with life? There must be a reason, because it appears that every culture in recorded history had some belief in some type of god. All the different cultures, tribes, societies and civilization had their Gods, trinkets, traditions, rituals and temples. But why; we know now, or some of understand that all these stories and myths were nothing more than figments of our imagination. Most all ancient writing has in it; Invisible ghosts, invisible friends and/or Gods. Isn't it amazing that even modern day civilizations cannot seem to shake this and those who wish to lead use it to manipulate us into their created realities. Just look at the Evil Muslim Clerics who twist and turn the people commit atrocities against humanity? Look at the Witch Doctors in Haiti with their Voodoo Dolls? Look at the Catholic Church and their strangle hold on their followers, while they allow their leadership to rape and molest our children? Resurrection Faith (Part 2) Christ died. This is a historical fact not to be denied. But it is the claim of the apostle Paul that God showed His love for us through Christ dying for sinners; this is interesting. It is interesting because we wonder what was it that encouraged Paul to believe that Jesus' death was for sinners. He could not "see" the love of God at work. Jesus had been stabbed in the back and abandoned by His disciples. His mother and a few women, together with John stood by watching Him die. Near the cross, soldiers gambled. One thief cursed God and man. The other prayed as he died. But who of those around the cross watching Jesus die was suddenly overtaken with a great sense of God's love? Who testified about how much God loved them? Religious Tolerance and the Internet The internet is a great resource of information on all kinds of topics, including religion. A lie collaborated by the Catholic church. The possibillity has been mentioned that the Holy Bible is a fraud. That the God our country and civilization was founded on is based on a lie. There are people in our society who claim that The Virgin Mary was in fact pregnated by aliens. That Jesus never rose from the cross and went to heaven but was brought back to life by aliens. That every spiritial encounter in the bible was not with a heavenly being but with an alien. I do not personally believe this. I do however admit that people's theories of alien encounters and encounters in the bible have similar significense in our believes. In order for Christians to fight these allegations they and I must be more open minded to the possibility that maybe UFO's do exist. That they are mentioned in the bible; in Ezekial. I am not proclaiming that I believe there are little green men living on other planets, but that if men can have such an understanding of vast technology isn't God's understanding that much greater.
