Organized Religion is Great for Humanity; Rants from Lance
Organized Religion has served mankind well, by uniting civilization and societies for thousands of years. God bless organized religion indeed. More so let us pay tribute to the great religious leaders of our largest and most well organized religions. One cannot think of a better or higher authority than those who are leaders of religious organizations. For instance the new pope and former Nazi Youth, the BTK murderer who was President of his Lutheran Church or the many Bishops and Priest who molest our innocent children? All in the name of god and organized religion, isn't it so wonderful that these organization help us lowly humans with our questions, self-doubts and inadequacies. What on Earth would we do without such humble and moral leaders of our organized religion. We must also be very proud of our newest in the news figure and member of the organized religion leadership and his tribute to peace. The Lodi Pakistani Cleric is a pillar of his community. The Lodi Cleric with ties to International terrorism incited others to defend your friend and mine Mr. Osama bin Laden to kill infidels, that is Americans for short. Again what would civilization and mankind have done without these fine folks to lead us? Shabbir Ahmed was the head of the Lodi Mosque. He of course he denies making any speech against the United States while in our country and says now that he has moved here he changed his mind. Counsel for the Department of Justice says Ahmed is linked to a terrorist group in Pakistan, and had preached about attacking Americans a few months after the September 11th terrorist attacks. Ahmed is one of five men arrested during a terrorism investigation in Lodi. One of the other men actually attended a training camp of OBL? Since nearly all the problems of our society and problems with peace in the world come from religious leaders of established religions; why not just make it illegal to fraudulently promote works of literature and fiction as truth. Why not simply apply the laws of business advertising to the mix? For instance no false representation is allowed to be made to any individual in order for personal gain or money? Please explain to me again why we allow people to have invisible friends without labeling them mentally problematic and why we even allow such utterly bogus religions to even exist in this present period? Think on this, then give me your answer, your one and final answer please. That said; let's review the old boiling frog story one more time. A frog accidentally jumps into a pan of water recently placed on the stove. He is comfy and does not try to jump out of the pan. As the water starts to heat up he just enjoys the warmth and as frogs are able to do, he changes the temperature of his blood to match the water temperature. (Don't try this at home, it only works for frogs) With every increase in temperature the frog adjusts and goes on with his lovely little bath. Just as the water reaches the boiling point he goes to make one final temperature adjustment only to discover that he can't. Nature has not provided him with this ability. The result is obviously, death. Conserving Water at a Car Wash Fundraiser If you use a pressure washer during your fundraiser you can wash twenty cars with one capful of soap in a two-thirds filled five-gallon water bucket. Of course your soap will be biodegradable. At least twenty-five percent of the cars you wash will not require the use of soap due to previous wax coats that have been applied. These cars combine to lower your wet/rinse cycle to about thirty seconds of spray time or 1.2 gallons of water per car. This is fifty times more efficient. You can wash fifty cars with a pressure washer to the one car washed with a garden hose in the driveway. This constitutes a significant savings in water. Is It Good For Man Not To Marry? Are we doing what the word of God say to do. Please allow me to give you some insight about the purpose of marriage and the single person. Let's start first at 1Corinthians 7:1 it says Now for a matters you wrote about: it is good for a man not to marry. But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband. Now if you look further in the chapter at verse26 it says Because of the present crisis, I think that it is good for you to remain as you are. Are you married? Do not seek a divorce. Are you unmarried? Do not look for a wife. But those who marry will face many troubles in this life, and I want to spare you this. Why The Devil Is He Out To Get You? The devil's agenda for tricking Adam and Eve intoeating the wrong fruit and thus rebelling against God,was so he could be like the most high GOD himself. Vegetarianism Millions worldwide suffer from malnutrition and the threat of starvation. One-third of the grain in the world is being used to feed to animals to fatten up for slaughter. The amount of grain fed to animals being raised for slaughter is higher in the United States than other parts of the world. We could feed straving humans this grain instead of fattening up a cow for a fast food restaurant to make a hamburger. A vegetarian diet reduces the risk of heart disease and cancer. It makes weight loss easier and lowers cholesterol. Animals are given hormones and antibiotics, both of which humans can do without in excessive amounts. An added benefit to being a vegetarian is that we do not have to worry about mad cow disease or salmonella poisoning. Rainforests are being destroyed at a rapid rate to make room for cattle to graze. There is a lot of cruelty and abuse present when animals are being raised for slaughter. Surely Not ALL Evils! Surely, Not All Evils! The Women Issue The following message entitled THE WOMAN ISSUE is a study for those who truly desire to examine what Scripture says on a very controversial subject: the role of women in the Church. This would make a great bible study or forward the message to church leadership. We will be using The Law of Scriptural Interpretation: every Scripture must be interpreted in light of other Scriptures on the same subject; it must harmonize with all other verses used as we compare spiritual with spiritual, (1 Cor.2:13). Ready? Here we go! The Gospel Of Convenience The subject of this document is so unpleasing to the 21st century American Christian, I believe that by writing it, I will step across a threshold of "Main stream evangelical Christian", to a "radical", a "dissenter", "out there" and even "lost" in the eyes of some folks who read these words. So be it.
