Elliot Spitzer Blows Chunks
This is the beginning of the end for the man who would be king. Mr. Elliot Spitzer loses big time and blows chunks. Elliot Spitzer's reputation is wiped out with a single case. One of his most celebrated cases in fact, as a Manhattan jury acquitted Bank of America's Ted Sihpol on 29 of 33 counts over the charges of grand larceny and fraud. He was accused of helping a hedge fund trade Mutual Fund shares after hours (4PM). The remaining accounts became a deadlock jury. He walks scott free since he committed no crimes. It sure appears that Elliot Spitzer's days are numbered and that he made up the whole case to further his political interests to become Governor of New York. Some say Elliot Spitzer is the sleaze from hell and he is as crooked and corrupt as they come. Others agree and a few just do not have the cranial capacity to hold that opinion. Such abuse of power has elevated him to infamous status. The often labeled arrogant, self important, meglomanic gone bureaucratically ballistic man will probably be headed for a sharp fall now that everyone knows the truth, that his cases are simply bogus. In the New York Post the headline reads "DEMS HOPE BIG SETBACK IS FORGOTTEN BY ELECTION DAY" By FREDRIC U. DICKER State Editor Albany. Fredric the top New York Editor goes on to say; "Attorney General Eliot Spitzer's reputation as the Sheriff of Wall Street suffered its first major blow yesterday, but just how serious the damage will be to the highly ambitious Democratic gubernatorial hopeful remains to be seen." Elliot Spitzer seems to be continuing his fishing expedition, going after big names and huge companies. Apparently he does not care if the charges are relevant only that his name is in the headlines everyday. Many on Wall Street are glad to see the tyrant dictator "Chairman Kim Jong Il" type get a reality check. Others compare what he has done to free enterprise to that of the 9-11 attacks of Osama Bin Laden. After all his two biggest cases have "American" in their names. Elliot Spitzer has single handedly done more to hurt America's competitiveness in World Markets than the trade deficit with China Many junior regulators who file bogus cases and emulate him will have their little feelings hurt now, but they know that the courts will no longer put up with sort BS. This is a good day for America to right the wrongs of one Elliot Spitzer as we reign in the regulatory abuses of power. Bringing Back Mining Jobs to the United States With new environmental technologies and modern efficiency methods in mining can we revive this sector of our economy. It would be great for manufacturing costs and coupled with the current low dollar we stand to make gain quite a bit if we can. By doing this the job of doing mining correctly it is feasible, but environmental laws are not the only regulations that mining operations have to deal with, once you let those bastard regulators on the property they are only interested in finding something wrong to pay for their trip. I detest most of the new legislation on the table, but have to forgive our representatives in the House and Senate for it. After all, writing laws is what a Legislature does, and if they don't write enough laws, it can begin to look like they've been loafing. Sure they can have various personal vows and contractual relationships, share monies; even call themselves married; domestic partners or sole mates. Male homosexual marriages or civil unions seem to make sense because the homosexual male population as a whole is 560% more promiscuous as heterosexuals or regular folks. This promiscuity issue leaves them as at the highest possible risk of contracting HIV and AIDS. AIDS kills people, which would not be very good for them personally. In the future perhaps there will be a cure. Right now the Chinese are working on a vaccine, which looks promising. When you insert you sexual organ up another person's rectum much tearing takes place and there are severe health risks involved even without the contraction of venereal diseases or AIDS. We are over regulating, over taxing and attacking the free market sector companies and this is cost America jobs, governments in tax base and hardship for travelers, vendors and industry, which rely on this transportation. Buying of 15 Billion worth of jet fighters from Russia, advances in Space which can lead to Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles, Electromagnetic Weapons, training and recruiting of personal for army. Taiwan is extremely concerned as is Japan, Russia is thrilled having been able to sell them technologically advanced weaponry. Our defense industry is upset seeing sales go to other countries, also alarming in our trade deficit and money flows out of our country to China, which is being used to buy the weapons in the first place. Airbus is establishing a military division to catch some of that money flow too, having watched Boeing which also sells military and commercial make major end roads to markets thru R and D partially coming from US Government, which as we know has been a debate in the EU and fair trade rules as Airbus is funded in part and subsidized by European governments who are simultaneously deficit spending. The selling of weapons in the world is quite alarming and makes the case for Iranian or North Korea's nuclear weapon ambitions a tough one, in that shouldn't a country have the right to defend itself? A worthy debate although a government, which has proved untrustworthy in the past obviously should never be trusted with such destructive power which once used would surely change the history of mankind. Iran is Escalating the Conflict Iran has threatened to raise America's fuel prices again. They have said they will most likely comply with the nuclear weapons productions, but are quite spiteful with regards to a different attack on American Soil. They are using what they believe to be levers available to them in OPEC. Iran has threatened to ask OPEC; Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries to slash output when the group meets this next week. Iran's OPEC governor has made this comment in the news.
