Communication Breakdown - Dont Let It Happen To You
Do you have Communication breakdown? How are you communicating with your contacts? We need: Contacts we can send emails to regarding our businessopportunities. Contacts we can build up a good working relationship with, similar interests as far as business opportunities go. Contacts we can share how we are going with our businessopportunities. Contacts we can trust to be honest with us about what, how, when and why, as we operate our business and opportunities. Contacts we can become friends with, even though we are onother sides of the world and may never meet but can be openwith each other like good friends are. With all these contacts there is one common factor---COMMUNICATION. yes that's right communicating witheach other. I have been amazed how much one can gauge by sending emailsand receiving emails in return. A lot can come through inthe written word. Mostly I don't think we even realise howmuch of our personalities we show when we send an email. Of course so many emails we receive, are not written by thesender, they are written by an experienced copywritter. There are also many operating online for years and years whohave never written an email using their own words yet they sendemails daily to our inboxes. They do this very well. so have never even thought tocompose a message to their contact list, this is a shame. Itis a shame because they have never given their contacts a chanceto get to know them. The same thing goes for their contacts. Some of my contactshave never sent me an email about anything, I may beinterested in their opportunities and may like to offer themto my contacts. So you see, communication is a huge part of this InternetMarketing. It is advertising, but more importantly it iscommunciation and communicating with each other. The trust we build when we communicate helps with our everyday life on the Internet. So let You show and let others get to Know You. I have found it hard not to write the way I was taught inschool, Sister Mary Hitemharder gave me a good grounding inEnglish writing and old habits are hard to break, but I amlearning. Because we are not face to face, it is best towrite as though you are talking to the person. Less formaland not intimidating and the more you do it the easier itbecomes. Some people seem to have the knack, but if you talk to themthey have worked hard to achieve the easy style. So start tapping at those keys and put your own words upthere on the screen and let others get to know you. Put yourpersonality out there and you will be surprised at therewards you will receive. I remember one email I received very early in my onlineactivities. I didn't act on this offer straight away, letthe email sit there for a day or so. It had one of thosesections at the bottom for the earnings of the sender. Imust admit they looked very good. So I was considering this very seriously and being very new to it all, was a little cautious. A couple of days later the same subject line appears in mymail box but the sender is different and guess what? Thesetwo people had earned exactly the same amount of money onexactly the same days. I thought that amazing, what anenormous coincidence. Now really!!!! This is what I mean about writing in your own words. Itwould have been better for both these people to write thatit is possible to earn good money with this program and not take someone's earnings as their own. Needless to say those offers I wouldn't waste any time on,just press the 'D' key and, away they go, to theDump folder. Do yourself a favour and write to your lists, let it beyou. I for one will look forward to reading your mail. So how are your contacts going? Do you know? Take theplunge, write and find out. Communicate, don't havecommunication breakdown. Funnel Your Way to Marketing Success A funnel is a good way to think of the marketing process. The top is very broad and consists of using mass marketing techniques. Mass marketing includes items like mass mailings, national advertising, billboards, and airing commercials during the Super Bowl. The marketing message is sent to a broad audience with little or no discretion. Mass marketing is very expensive, difficult to evaluate, and has a low return on investment. Usually newspapers have large staffs, especially daily newspapers. They do everything in house to save costs. They obviously have lots of cars to clean and this means plenty of customers. A Perfect Partnership for Business Too often we small business owners get caught up in our day-to-day bottom line, and miss the needs of the community outside our door. By doing this, we miss an opportunity to include "socially responsible marketing" -or sponsorship- in our yearly promotional plan. Sponsorship is a perfect collaboration, considering the similarities that entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations have in common. We are value-driven, highly motivated and creative risk takers, results-oriented and close to our clients. With this in mind, consider exploring sponsorship as a humanitarian duty, first and foremost, as well as an investment. Direct Mail Response Rates Soar With Dimensional Mailers in Business-to-Business Lead Generation The toughest job you face as a B2B direct marketer is reaching your prospect with your message. Reaching C-level executives is particularly difficult because they employ mailroom staff and executive secretaries who screen their mail, or your mail, depending on how you look at it. So unless your direct mail lead generation letter or postcard or self-mailer stands out from the rest, it won't reach the desk of your potential client. 11 Ways to Turnaround a Cash-Strapped Business or Practice This past weekend I received a disturbing message from a dear friend. Strategic Marketing and Tactical Marketing Know The Differences And Profit Most people mistakenly assume that when you talk about marketing, you're automatically talking about "Tactical" marketing - placing ads, generating leads, sending out mailers, attending trades shows, creating brochures, implementing a follow-up system, and so forth. AIDA From A Different View - I Call It the 5 Ws My childhood was my foundation for how I write and how I think. I caught on at an early age that writing is an art and it has a very distinct way of reaching out to people depending on how you apply it. I used my own method of writing and applied it to the criteria my teachers needed. You see, the criteria is always changing from teacher to teacher or professor to professor but the method that is applied can be easily molded into place to make it fit perfectly. Are Keywords Destroying the Flow of Your SEO Copy? With all the shuffling that's been seen in the search engine world within the last year, the issue of obvious optimizing has become a hot button. The current line of thinking is that most engines (especially Google) are on the lookout for sites that purposely make an effort to optimize their pages in order to get high rankings. While this theory has not been proven, I agree that obvious optimization is not a good thing. Not exclusively because of what Google might think, but because of what your site visitors might think. Explode Your Sales With Free & Exclusive Content Offering free and exclusive content to ezine publishers and webmasters is one of the best ways you can increase exposure for your products and services. There are several effective methods you can use to employ this marketing tactic and subsequently boost your sales. Notable News - Its Not About You! You enjoy what you do. In fact, you love your product and want to tell everyone about it. Well, I hate to tell you this, but no one cares! Think about the last major purchase you made?maybe a car ?did you buy it because you met a car salesman who told you how much he loved his work or did you buy it because you would spend less on fuel and maintenance and be able to spend more on eating out, make up or your favourite hobbies. Maybe it's as simple as wanting to feel and look successful. Rather than participate in the herd mentality you see and hear in advertising everyday, do something different. Speak to the motivation of your prospective customers. Connect with them. A review of the five levels of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is a good place to start. 1. The base of the pyramid is made up of those who are just coping with life and want basic physiological needs fulfillment: food, shelter, and clothing. 2. One level up are those who have a need to feel safe and secure. Stability, security of home and family and consistency in life are markers of this level. None of the higher needs can be addressed before these needs are met. Fears and anxieties develop here. 3. Love and belonging are next. Humans have a need to relate through groups, work, family....... This is the time that all those relationship books are purchased. 4. Esteem is not only self esteem from knowing what we know and being able to do what we do, it's also the attention and recognition of others. This is where we buy a fancy car or a mansion on the hill. 5. The need to grow and self-actualize. This is to enable the maximizing of potential, knowledge, peace, self-fulfillment, and connection with God. Only approximately 2% of the world's population has achieved this level of comfort and acceptance of self. |
