During that time a brain storm came tome and I wrote feverously for thirty minutes, jumped in the car and decided to take a tour ofthe new Wal-Mart food store in St. Matthews as Iheaded back to work. When I arrived at the storeit was not raining, as I began to leave it waspouring. I didn't buy anything so I went out theentrance way. At the same time I realized it wasraining an elderly woman coming into the storeasked me to help with fix her umbrella, it wasstuck open. I'm thinking, not now lady my top'sdown in my car and there are fish swimming in it,but calmly with a smile I help her. Then she wantsme to fold it for her, you've got to be kiddingme. She proceeds to thank me (as I swiftly moveaway) and she says, "by the way there is aconvertible in the parking lot with the top down. As I ran out I yell that's mine thank you: Now,how many seventy year old woman notice or evencare about a comfortable sports car in the midstof fifty cars in a lot? I get in, sit in a puddleof water, close the top and start to drive off. AsI do so, I look over and see a plastic hairprotector (I don't know what the real name of themare. Elderly people wear them to cover there hairup from rain) covering my books and what I wroteat the coffee shop. It was then I realized whatGod had just allowed to happen. The same women Ijust helped had taken off her head wear and put itover my books protecting them from the rain. "Whatdo you want from my heart today Lord, was justanswered." I didn't know this lady, nor did sheknow me or my car, that wasn't the massage. Themassage was, we reap what we sow. What ever youwant for your heart you must sow. This is not something to worry about for there are many ways to deal with shyness. Here are a few tips to keep in mind: Dolphin Figurines evoke images of wild dolphins: How Do Dolphins Communicate? Researchers are seeking to identify how dolphins communicate. Unfortunately it is like ancient history, once we can decipher the basic 'words' we think we have the message. However, ancient civilizations left us artifacts, buildings, religious and other rituals of life to enable us to deduce more meaning from what was written. Psychic Sponge Syndrome: The Easy Inner-Centrifuge Remedy Here's a nifty trick to use to clear yourself of any psychic "stuff" you may pick up as you move through the world. I learned the basic format for it from a woman who had the booth space adjacent to mine at a tradeshow. Being someone who had not yet mastered the art of being open-hearted without sponging up the energy of others, I was walking around like a zombie on day two of the show, after having been immersed in the circus of conflicting energies the day before . My booth neighbor asked me what was going on with me, as I was obviously not as radiant as I had been on day one. When I explained that I had soaked up too much chaotic energy and didn't know how to rid myself of it, she said, "Oh. You just need to spin it off." And I said, "Cool! HOW?!" Computers and Internet: Inspiring Us to Create The Internet is sometimes criticized (usually by parents who think their kids need to be outdoors more often) as leading people to be sitting in front of their computers all day growing bulbous, lethargic and (depending on who you talk to) stupid. I think that the opposite can often be true. My friends and I have recently been inspired to new creative ventures through the time spent online. Quitting Before It Even Starts Most people give up just when they're about to achieve success. They quit on the one yard line. They give up at the last minute of the game, one foot from a winning touch down. --Ross Perot Aftermath of a Child?s Near Death Experience An 18 month-old girl lay dying of diphtheria in January of 1944. It was before the widespread use of antibiotics. In fact, the antibiotics were reserved for the troops fighting in World War II. That's where the little girl's father was...on Iwo Jima. Sharing Your Experiences and Your Potential! Who dares to teach must never cease to learn. - John Cotton Dana Moral Obligation & Responsibility Chances are you have seen some type of disturbance in your lifetime. Whether it was a bully picking on someone or a piece of trash on the ground, disturbances happen daily on several different levels. Some people address them and others wait or assume someone else will handle the situation. What Legacy Are We Leaving Our Children? Children can seem exhausting, annoying, wonderful, loud and funny all at the same time. They are a lot of work especially in the beginning years but what we need to realize is that they are our future so what we do with them in the early to teen years is important because they will become the leaders while we behold the golden years. How we raise them now affects how our future is in our later years and in theirs. When you see how our current situation is with illiteracy in schools, and crime, it can seem daunting to us. What If? What If?What if I can't? What If I can? What I should be thinkingIs it in God's plan? I.Q. You Q. He, She, or It Qs. I have, in recent years, come to believe that IQ tests are a waste of time for most of us, and a waste of money for some of us. In fact, as a general rule of thumb, if you want to know how stupid you are, check to see if you're paying for an online IQ test. There Is Always Room For Improvement When I was twelve my parents bought me a five foot snooker table for my birthday. This turned out to be the best present I was ever bought and I quickly became hooked on the game. My friends would regularly come round to my house for a game and when they were not there I would practice on my own. Need A Boost? Take a Look at How Far Youve Come Too many of us are too hard on ourselves, always alert to that devilish voice whispering "you should be farther along in life". Smother that voice right now by reading this quote by Booker T. Washington: The Most Famous Line I Never Wrote There is one line that can dramatically impact your life and I want to share this quote with you but first let me explain... The Miracle of Personal Development One day Mr. Shoaff said, "Jim, if you want to be wealthy and happy, learn this lesson well: Learn to work harder on yourself than you do on your job."
