Get at least 15 minutes of sunshine daily. Daily Exercise - Exercise releases endorphins that make us feel good and is known to boost people's moods and is good for depression. Seek support from family and friends - Isolation is the partner of depression and negative thinking.Get support even if you do not want it. Depression is a medical illness and you don't have to go through this alone. Attend Support Group Meetings - Support goes hand-in-hand with gathering good information. Join a depression support group. There are also numerous online communities and forums available if you cannot find a depression support group in your area or if you cannot express your true feelings in person.
