Living Life Powered By My Own Intention, Knowing the True Essence of Security
Since my departure from the traditional "Corporate Life" almost8 months ago at the young age of 42, I have been on a free-birdjourney to "find my bliss". In that time and my travels, I have continually been confronted with and struck by the fact that, although there is much talk about and studying of "the power of intentions", it appears to me as though many people aren't yet really "living it". "It" being their own life, dreams or reality in happiness and in well being. The lights of their proverbial stage remain unlit and the seats of their theaters empty. Living life "on purpose" and in deliberate creation is, magical, mysterious, and some would say outright miraculous. I am in awe - and giggles - daily as I witness one "coincidence" after another play out for my personal delight and bliss.I have a new term for "coincidence", it's now replaced with"Universal Wink", and when one happens I know it! William Shakespeare so eloquently stated in his masterful anddeliberate creation "As You Like it", "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players: They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts," In my reality, everyone is a player on my stage and a mirror for my self-learning pleasure, my theatre is sold out consistently! It was only a few short years ago - between 4 and 5 - that I wasintroduced to an old and powerful little book. At the time, Iconsidered the author an odd looking man with an even oddername - Wallace D. Wattles. The title of the book is "The Scienceof Getting Rich" and "Wally" - as we have affectionately come tocall him - was inspired to share his "pragmatical and practical manual" almost a century ago in the year 1910. Unlike other books I had read prior to it;"The Magic of Thinking Big" by David Schwartz, "Acres of Diamonds"by Russell H. Conwell, or the all-time classic "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, this book provided me with a new perspective and new tools to experiment with.I was hooked on both the preface and the first paragraph of the first chapter as Wattles stated, "The monistic theory of the universe the theory that One is All, and that All is One; That one Substance manifests itself as the seeming many elements of the material world..." ~ Preface "WHATEVER may be said in praise of poverty, the fact remains that it is not possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich. No man can rise to his greatest possible height in talent or soul development unless he has plenty of money; for to unfold the soul and to develop talent he must have many things to use, and he cannot have these things unless he has money to buy them with." ~ Chapter 1 It seemed to me that "everything old was new again". The words cameat me from a long ago past in crisp clarity, and clarity I havecome to experience, is the essence of power. Wally and my "playing with his principles" went on to prove to me, beyond a shadow of my own doubts, that there is much more to earning money than exchanging my time and talents for it, and that the traditional exchange is much more difficult than the "much more" that was required to amass personal wealth and well being. It was also the first time I had realized that there really are no coincidences in my world, and that everything that seemed like a coincidence was there on purpose and deliberately for my own growth, use or entertainment. The Science of Getting Rich, as with many others, summarizes and continually re-iterates a mantra that I felt true in every cell of my Being. Wattles speaks of "The Certain Way", a certain way of being, doing and thinking that sounded loudly familiar and gave me thefamiliar goosebumps of recognition that I was "onto something". It spoke to me of the inherent knowing of my own integrity and excellence that has been my faithful comfort in times of uncertainty and indecision all my life. "There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe. A thought, in this substance, Produces the thing that is imaged by the thought. Man can form things in his thought, and, by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created. In order to do this, man must pass from the competitive to the creative mind; he must form a clear mental picture of the things he wants, and do, with faith and purpose, all that can be done each day, doing each separate thing in an efficient manner." Simply taking the above statements "on faith"and going through my days in "The Certain Way" opened up a wholenew set of options for "deliberately creating" the futurethat I desired to experience. As my days unfolded with newevidence that I was actually affecting the events around me, Iwas struck with a realization and deeper understanding of an even older story that has always had me in a childlike state of awe and wonder. That story is the story of our own creation as told in the book of Genesis - "The Beginning". It was upon this realization and after many years of having first read it that I finally "felt" I understood how it was possible to create a whole universe single-handedly! The words in verses 26 & 27 (NIV) was now a huge "aha"! "Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." It now made total sense to me that if God created us in his/our image that we should have the ability to create as [he/they] did! Since that time, I have been blessed with the appearance and teachings of many mentors, coaches and masters that confirm my own collosal "aha". As I said at the beginning of this article: "I have continually been confronted with and struck by the fact that, although there is much talk about and studying of "the power of intentions", it appears to me as though many people aren't yet really "living it"." Like a scientist with a whiff of profound discovery, I began toask myself some new questions: What if we do have the ability to create as God did? How hasthat affected what and where I am now? What if we are all here as a single entity and at the same timestill connected to and operating out of that "formless stuff"? Which brings me to another verse from Genesis - Verse 2: "Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters." And, blasphemous though it may sound to many, even to myself thefirst time I asked it, the most important question of all - What if I AM God? As I asked the question and tried to imagine the "consequences"of that being true I felt a lightness and "certainty" envelopeme. For the first time in my life I felt the true essence of "secure". It also caused me to realize that not everyone would feel the same sense of comfort and security in that "truth". It smacked of huge "responsibility". If everyone is God and creating their own reality, some may not be too "proud" about whatthey have created for themselves so far. Taking responsibility for the present circumstances of their world might be painful atbest. I have somehow inherently operated from these "new" rulesall my life, using this "force" on purpose has allowed me to see how I "create"and I am "at peace with where I'm at".Is it not easier for many to shift the responsibility to a greaterentity or to someone else if things are not exactly as they want them? It is truly humbling to look at a "mess" and take responsibility for creating it, to say, "this I have done - and it is good". Well, it is "all good". Can I refer to Genesis again? Notice that at the end of each verse, after each of his creations it says: "And God saw that it was good." There's a new teacher on the planet today. An entity that hascome to us and interacts with us from the "formless stuff". I haveenjoyed and delighted in the "Teachings of Abraham" for almost 3years now. They/it are here to teach us to "feel good" no matterwhat, to ignore the apparent "reality" of our circumstances andgo for that better feeling place. Abraham-Hicks is being hailedas the greatest teacher of our time, and comes at a time we needthem most. It is our "good" feelings that are the raw material in creatingthat which we desire in our lives. Knowing with clarity what we truly want is the tricky part, and the most important. What do you want when everything's possible? Like the art of praying andpraising taught to me in Sunday school so many years ago, settingmy intentions and remaining in a state of certainty and allowinghas me in total bliss from moment to moment every day! Here's a quote by one of my favorite human beings, Albert Einstein: "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them." Keeping in mind that everything is always good, and if you perceive you have a problem - which is just a "don't want", step out of your traditional way of thinking and tap into something a little different than you're used to. I promiseyou that eventually it'll all come back around to that whichyou already know. My question to you is, do you even know what it feels like to feel good let alone experience total bliss? Sounds like an obvious question and I've met many that don't - yet. Like God did in the beginning, in his image we launch our rockets of desire and go about creating that which pleases us most. Knowing we are in a place of complete control at all times and having faith in the simplicity,of a universal law that is unfailing in it's "certainty" createsa huge sense of security - everything is always perfect in itstiming and it is always "good". So ask yourself - regardless of your prior programming, "What if I am God?" How different would your world look in a few short days, weeks or months from Now? And, no matter what you see then, simply decide, "it's all good",because feeling good is ALWAYS a choice. *~~~~~*~~~~~*~~~~~*~~~~~*~~~~~*~~~~~*~~~~~*~~~~~*~~~~~*~~~~~*~~~~~* The books referenced and recommended in the article are public domain and may be downloaded from my personal online library in HTML format at: Julie's Library Julie Coombs is based out of Brantford, Ontario, Canada. Mind Walls Walls as a blockade seem to be an integral part of our society. Almost from the beginning of man's pilgrimage here on earth, there have been walls which have bound and imprisoned mankind. These walls are designed supposedly to protect our society, to safeguard us from taboo and abnormal personality traits. But it should be considered that mankind down through the ages has deliberately and voluntarily erected walls to shut out segments of society. Meditations From a Spiritual Journey For me, the best poetry stirs my soul; it awakens my spirit through its clarity and simplicity. Its purpose is clean, pointing me towards greater understanding of who I am in this world, or, even better, towards comprehension of the divine that indwells both this world and me. It is this comprehension, this movement towards the divine, that enables each of us to make this world better as we work for justice and an "acting-out" of the divine's attributes. Unconditional Love Really Means Unconditional Radiance The fastest way to raise your frequency is to do the job you were designed to do. You were designed to love. You were designed to radiate Love unconditionally. Now before you go, "Oh THAT again. I've tried loving unconditionally, and it is impossible," you need to understand that what I'm saying is different. What I'm saying is that you are to love, plain and simple. Not love somebody. Not love something. Just to love. Okay, in a sense, you are to love somebody or something, but not in the ordinary sense. You are simply to love God. Why The Universe Is User-Friendly After All! The Winds of Change Humanity is entering a very critical time in its path of evolution. The winds of change began to blow over eighteen years ago at the event you call Harmonic Convergence but the only ones who felt this at first were those many call star-seeds or light workers. Today almost everyone on the planet is being swept up into them. The third dimension world of duality is beginning to be blown away so to speak. A Beautiful Mind is a Simple Mind!! In the movie "A Beautiful Mind" John Nash (played by Russell Crowe) is a schizophrenic math genius who struggles with is inability to have peace of mind. Also, it isn't a collector's piece of art or a decoration. However, it is often used that way, and that's ok too. There is a place for that approach in our lives. They do make a powerful addition to any home's decor, and make a great conversation piece. So, if you are a history buff, especially American history, a kachina collection is most appropiate. Jesus said, "No one can see the Kingdom of Heaven unless he is BORN AGAIN," (Jn 3:3). A born again disciple is one who has, literally, been given a new lease on life. He or she gets to start over, sins forgiven. We become new creatures, the old is gone, the new has come, (2 Cor 5:17). The Holy Spirit, the promised parakletos (comforter, in Greek), now dwells within each of us who are disciples of Christ. We are His home. Yes, God... the One who made both Heaven and earth... chooses to live THROUGH those who claim Jesus as Lord so that He can advance His Kingdom THROUGH them. Yes, we become His home but for Kingdom purposes, not for our own benefit. People Fail in Life Because They Do Not Plan Life is growth. For many people life is like a merry go round. They feel life is going to work, paying bills, spend time with family that is it. You must always ask this question. Is this all I want in my life? Are you utilizing your God given potential? You must make a choice of how you want to live your life. |
