Youre Standing Between Two Clouds
On one side there is a dark cloud. It is full of pain, sickness, disease, poverty, and death. All of the curses talked about in Deuteronomy 28 are swarming in circles. There is a bright cloud on the other side. It is a white cloud with health, prosperity, peace, and life. All of the blessings talked about in Deuteronomy 28 are floating in this bright cloud. A calm, deep voice says, "Choose." You respond with the obvious, "I have chosen. I want life." The deep voice tells you to continue to look into the cloud of promise. The voice says to not to look back at the darkness... You understand quickly because you didn't and still don't want the death penalty! That's why you turned to Jesus! He died so that your sins could be forgiven and taken away from you (Psalms 103:12). He saved you. If you've accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior as you were told to in Romans 10:9,10 then you have stepped out of the dark cloud into the light one. No matter what the enemy says that you feel, see or hear, you are really saved! You have been set free from sickness, poverty, pain, and death (Isaiah 53:5,6) As I was reminded, keep your eye on the Lord and His kingdom. He is the light. He is the cloud of freedom... Don't look back but walk forward into the light more and more. Grow in the Lord and you'll see more clearly (John 8:12) Jesus loves you and has set so much in place for you to have. When Jesus said it was finished in (John 19:30) He wasn't kidding. The bright light, and life inside it is very fabulous. Don't ever be deceived into thinking that God won't give you all that He has promised you. He's not keeping any good thing from you (Psalms 84:11,12). You're accepting what life you live in. You choose. Ouch! There is a smile or a frown on your face when you look around at your world. One of the main things that strongly determines what you have is what you believe. In order to accept the gifts of light, we have to start by knowing they're available and waiting for us! No wonder God told us to renew our minds in His word (Romans 12:2). By reading, thinking, and saying what He said (Joshua 1:7,8), we place ourselves in the position to get the good things that God has already made available to us. Think about a game of catch for a minute. There are a couple of people throwing a ball back and forth. If one moves out of the path of the ball that is coming, there will be no receiving it. If one person puts their hand behind their back there will be no receiving. If you want to receive the promises of good from God, then make sure and read His word more often. In 2Timothy 2:15 we're told to study God's word. This isn't just browsing through a couple of verses a couple of times a year. This is the complete changing of your mind from thoughts of darkness to thoughts of light. Do you want health, prosperity, wisdom, and family well-being? These only come from God Almighty. They won't falter or crash. There are no underlying thoughts of taking advantage of you. There is only love because God is love (1John 4:16). Agape love is the God kind of love. It's a sure thing. It's unconditional and unemotional. It just is. God loves you. It's not short-term or temporary. It's not going to change. God wants to have a growing relationship with you. Many people walk in the cloud of darkness and blame God for it. Don't be one of them. God doesn't want you to turn against the good because you're deceived. He doesn't want for you to walk further and further into the dark cloud and blame Him for it. Make sure that you don't! Find out exactly what's in the deal for you! God brings life. Satan brings the exact opposite, death. God wants a real relationship with us so He gave us the right to choose. This is continual. All the time you can make the decision to turn from God and walk in the cloud of suffering and death. You constantly choose! Make today a day for more good! Walk in the light! Think, say, and do as God does! Feel free to distribute this article if it is kept as is, including the Resource Box at the bottom. Unification of World Religions If anyone says that his/her religion is the only path to God and that other paths lead to hell, I have one humble question. The question is for every religion without any trace of partiality. The simple question is: Today I have heard your Religion and if I follow that, I reach God and if I refuse I will go to the hell for my own fault. This is very much reasonable. But before your ancestors discovered our country, the literature or even the name of your religion was not known to our ancestor and he could not reach God for no fault of him. But your ancestor reached God through your religion at that time. The Dark Side of Spirituality On reading Susan Cato's Time Magazine Canada piece titled, "In Search of the Spiritual," I became increasingly annoyed at the realization that many people keep making the erroneous split between religion and spirituality, when they are one and the same. For example, in the Time Canada piece, Rabbi Leigh Lerner, who leads the Temple Emanu-El?Beth Sholom, a Reform congregation in Montreal, states, "Religiosity may not be increasing, but spirituality is," confirming the notion that 'spirituality is separate and preferable to religion.' Spirituality: Confusing or What? For some of us, spirituality is considered a religion, and for some it is not. For some spiritualists, we still see them dealing with their spiritual belief and see them stuck between two worlds. One world is the "new belief system" based on our personal growth, soul growth and our evolution, and their second world is also attached to one, or some part of, religion that makes it a hard time to let go regardless of the reason, but still wants to move beyond that belief system. That will create a conflict that when we decide we want to grow sometimes we are not allowed to bring the old system with us. That will slow us down. Think about it!!! Surviving Separation: A Cinderella Story I want to tell you a love story. It's actually about a girl named Cinderella. I'm sure you're familiar with the fairy tale but I'm going to tell you the TRUE story. The Cuddlies I finally went to the dentist today. I had been putting it off for a long time. Most of us are like that. When we know that something is going to be painful, we refuse to act until a stronger pain forces us to act. Unfortunately, that is the case with spiritual things as well. Much that God asks us to do goes against all of our natural instincts, and so we put off doing them. Failure Is Never As Painful As Regret! "I would rather regret some of my failures in lifethan to live my life failing to forget myregrets." GR Do Unto Others Marketing We've all heard the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Did you know that this little proverb is also found in all the world's major religions? From the New Testament we read, All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye so to them; for this is the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:1. Mystic Vision Opens Mind Body Connection Worldwide extensive research is being published related to the mind-body connection, and many investigators have come to the conclusion that the mind is simply not confined within the brain, that the brain is a vehicle for the mind, and not the source of the mind. Are You Homeless? Does Your Soul Have a Home? How do you feel when you see homeless people on the street? Many of us feel disgusted when we look at them and others do not even acknowledge their existence as if they're worthless and irrelevant. Some of us even consider them as being nothing but drunks and junkies. We all have different ways of interpreting the lives of these people, but in the end, we all believe that they are less fortunate than ourselves. Email From God - Or, How Such Big Ideas Get Into Such Little Hands It happens to us all from time to time, especially to creative types - that diminishing little voice from deep inside that is convinced that the things we do are no big deal, simply because we did them and we have trouble seeing ourselves as authors of anything truly important. "Basically," the voice whispers in sad despair, "if I did it, then it must be stupid, easy, worthless..." and many other unhappy assessments. Why Good Things Happen to Bad People One cannot ask why bad things happen to good people without also feeling the same tinge of injustice when we contemplate why good things happen to bad people. This is the question that anguished the Psalmist. He found himself in terrible distress and agony of soul. He says, "My feet had almost slipped; I had nearly lost my foothold." How To Unleash The Power Of Prayer But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory ~Phil.4:19 Choosing Our Parents There's a Native American belief that before we are born, we choose our parents. It actually ties in pretty nicely with the reincarnation idea that we prearrange certain circumstances before each life so as to learn different lessons. Either way, our parents teach us so much more than they ever mean to. Through their choices, circumstances, faults, talents and ability to show their love and support, they mold us. If life is a rat race, then our folks determine what we come out of the starting blocks with. A Crash Course In Tarot For Newbies #1 - All About the Cards The Tarot is not just a divinatory tool, but it can also be utilized in the appropriately trained hands as a tool for providing counsel and advice with which we can navigate life. It is an antique form of divination that predates popular psychology, but has been shown to have archetypal energies that work well from a Jungian perspective. Tarot becomes a book of wisdom offering you a living parable or myth that reflects your life journey in the hands of the right Diviner. It describes a journey that mirrors your path in life. Usually the story is a direct description of what is going to happen in a particular window of time although talented readers can tell you much more than that from looking at the symbols in the cards! One of the main purposes of the use of the cards is to construct a future narrative so that you can make decisions to change your fate. An Analysis of Western Mans Guiding Presuppositions An analysis of Western man's guiding presuppositions, A Review of the book "Impulse of Power" by Jack Kettler Creating Your Soul-Centered Community Imagine for a moment. It's Tuesday night about 7pm. You are excited and full of energy even though your day has been stressful and long. You have invited a group of like-hearted, spiritually-focused friends together in your living room to share and explore living as Soul. The Wisdom of the River: Lessons Learned Over the past few years I have watched the popularity of whitewater rafting grip the vacation market. "Strange", I thought. "Why would floating down a river become such a hotly contested vacation destination?" Today, I understand this phenomena completely. There is a wisdom and lesson that only the river can teach. It is a lesson that I intend to learn as often as possible. Whats Missing from Your Nutritional Plan? IS FAITH - NOT VITAMIN C WHAT'S MISSING FROM YOUR NUTRITIONAL PLAN? The Mystery of Purpose Some men see things as they are and say, "Why?" I dream of things that never were and say, "Why not?" -George Bernard Shaw Connecting to Spirit Every soul that is currently experiencing life on any level begins and ends as a whole. Our essence ? the very core of our spiritual being ? remains One with God. We always have been, and always will be, a part of 'the whole' that is the God-consciousness level. |
