Welcome to the Eye Science
Thousands of dyslexic students, across the UK, are referred of something called "Asfedic tuning", this is a procedure that supposedly results in a precise identification of a persons optimal background best suited for acquiring the optimum reading speeds. Here are my notes about this: [1] Is this Aprotocol@ a form of unconscious sensory teaching that Arecalibrates@ the retinal receptors to filter the returned spectral frequencies of light returned off the perimeter of the target object? Or is there a more fundamental brain architecture reprogramming process involved. Is the effect to force consistent use of a better suited area of the brain for lexical analysis among dyslexic readers? Or is the effect to change the configuration of a persons semantic nets [2] Are there any changes made to the Aprotocol@ for the percentage of the people with dyslexia that are also are sensitive to light? [3] The technical details of the protocol and the basis of the hypothesis used to develop it seem to be based on a mix of the magnocellular fast processing visual system and anatomy of the eye. Was there any research undertaken into genetics or anatomy (other that of the eye) or into less specific cognitive neuroimaging. [3] What methods / controlled clinical research have been done to rule out, for example, the possibility of undetected binocular vision problems or any Aplacebo@ effects, or other biases such as limited feed back from a subjective test (i.e. would it not be a more scientific test if veering texts were read out by the subject?) Since this is text based on a single sensory impairment that takes no account to cooperation, phonological difficulties? Is there any distinction between discrepancy defined subjects and poor readers or severity of difficulty? [4] Have there been any studies utilising Magnetoencephalography; functional magnetic resonance imaging or positron emission tomography to determine if there are any changes in the configuration of cortical maps in response to the Asfedia/Asfedic Tuning. [5] Is the effect of rapidly improvements in a person's reading speed in any way based on a neutral consequence of elevating the perceptual symptoms of insula disconnection, i.e conscious segmentation and translation to the mental image of a sound. [6] Are there adjustments in respect of the activation of the visual system, specifically is there use of area V5 of the cerebral cortex, i.e. improvements in efficient visual tracking? More use of the left cerebral hemisphere in general? And perhaps more interestingly the cortical area V4, in response in the tuning process? [7] Since the protocol is an accumulative effect, is there any possibility the prolonged exposer to a produce that permanently effects a persons ability filter potentially harmful spectral frequencies, that could course retinal sensitivity. Could continued use then cause improper firing of signals to the visual cortex which would result in visual distortions! Cloaking the Postage Stamp Modern Aircraft Carrier By using a special coating on the deck of an aircraft carrier and a projector on the top of the tallest communications mast facing down, we could project the image of the ocean onto the deck like a giant IMAX theatre screen. Although this sounds like a daunting task, it isn't really. There are many new materials, which are used on roadways, which allow for reflection for auto safety. Also many new materials and coatings being used, which absorb heat, radar, sound, etc. A combination of these materials and coatings on the deck of an aircraft carrier would protect it from aerial surveillance UAVs, high altitude blimps and some satellites. Observers in aircraft with less sophisticated electronics would not see it either. Some might think that our technology has not come along this far as of late, but I can assure you such a concept can not only be made possible but deployed in less than six months. Randomness Versus Predetermination Science is inherently a series of experiments within closed systems. A known starting points, then a prediction on what will happen based on a set of starting parameters. Once the prediction can be reproduced this is gauged as fact. Einstein Half Dead 100 years ago Albert Einstein developed his Relativity Theory of physics that claimed that the universe is actuallybased on a space-time-gravity continuum (a non-mechanical version of Rene Descartes' earlier mechanical ether theory) and with time as variable and relative. Ancient Inventions and Anthropology ANCIENT INVENTIONS: - In Alexandria and in the Cave of Hathor there appear to be reasons to believe we had electricity. There is no doubt that fraudulent traders were using electrum plating techniques to make gold plate on other metals to sell as pure gold. Some think the cave drawings show electrical wiring conduits, and I think it might be phosphorous slush in hoses to make the light by which the cave was painted by artists. There are professors who would have us believe the reason there is no carbon deposits from oil or wax burning lamps has to do with blind artisans. Thales had a small steam engine, the lighthouse at Alexandria and their tri-level sea-going ships, slot machines and other things lead the authors of Ancient Inventions to say they could build anything we could build until the mid-20th century. They detail the skill of port construction and many other things. There is much more than they talk about for us to re-learn or know, and many whole disciplines or things we've not yet re-discovered. The landmark immigration case Sarbah vs. Home Office (1985) was the first to use DNA testing to prove a mother-son relationship between Christiana Sarbah and her son Andrew. Energy and America The Bermuda Triangle and Antarctica The art or science of metallurgy is vital to the social structures surrounding all esoteric beliefs. They are the most tangible items of the cosmic soup that are possibly drawn to certain Earth Energy Grid locations as we shall see. The shamans who gathered meteorite material to fashion tools and weapons as well as for the use of the metals and spirits thereof became great aristocrats, as their family or heritage and legends grew. Genghis Khan (Temujin) is from such a family and most of the early aristocrats were either adept (like the House of David and Solomon) themselves or worked closely with these artisans who we could call alchemists, as Mircae Eliade does in his 'The Forge and The Crucible'. When the Spanish arrived in Mayan lands they asked the Aztecs and others where their knives came from, they also found a meteorite at the venerated apex of the Cholula pyramid. They pointed to the heavens and the Spanish reports call this paganism. When this use of metals began is anyone's guess. Transfer Technologies and Advances in Future Combat Transfer Technologies and Advances in Future Combat Remote Control Bacteria; We Can Not Allow That. Remote Control Bacteria. Why not, we have remote control everything. Controlling RNA, DNA, Proteins and enzymes. By turning on and off the Riboswitches: Ocean Polymer Goo to Stop Enemy Ships, a Concept Naval blockade using polymer goo to stop fleeing ships might be possible. In this concept we will use the goo to stick to the bottom of the opposing navy's vessels. Is operation; "Salad Bowl" a secret weapon? No, blockades have been going on since warships have been used. It is merely another tactic in the arsenal as the modern use of blockades moves forward. Currently we are opposed by an enemy, which is running out of ways to attack us and therefore is looking desperately for new ways to disrupt our flows. This of course will not work long term, but as they try and fight the inevitable to the end and as that end draws nearer we are seeing thru their underground correspondence and call to action, such directions as attacking our ports, harbors, pipelines and supply chains. We know our enemy and we know they know about construction, shipping, oil and are involved in high finance, thus as we saw inn the 9-11 attacks use of such knowledge using a non-linear approach. Trojan World War TROJAN WORLD WAR: - Homer said there were nineteen battles and we know there was a 400 year dark age that followed this enigmatic period which has almost been immortalized in fairy tales about wooden horses and fair maidens. We have given evidences of white men in the Americas at places like Poverty Point and the mouth of the Amazon (there is much more in the 'mysteries' section) as well as allover the world. The victor of the battle in America for the gold or copper and other things like cocaine may well have been the people who stayed behind and decided to have nothing to do with their Empire-building aristocrats back home. Who actually won this war is beyond my ability to discern. It seems the Phoenicians and Berbers or 'Sea People' operated as pirates for many years to come. They had been trying to establish some kind of political stability to conduct reasonable business from the time of the Hyksos Kings in 1800 BC. Acoustic Transducers To Detect And Eliminate Incoming Mortar Rounds There maybe a way to use acoustic transducers to pin-point incoming enemy ordinance such as mortar rounds in order to shoot them down. Directional sound waves from acoustic transducers set at specific locations around friendly locations can create artificial barriers, which the incoming ordinance will have to pass to reach its target and thus be detected and triangulated or quadrangulated for interception. Submarine Propulsion and Internet web sources Let us discuss the patent for the Submarine, which is now in the public domain, not that any foreign governments ever cared since they have been building them for years. Since my Grandfather built the first Ring Gyro at Stanford Research years back, I think it wise to discuss these things in a modern context. The device he built is now called a Laser Ring Gyro Inertia Guidance system which is not nearly the size of the original the first one ever built by my Grandfather was six feet in diameter and six feet high and was used in a submarine after it was perfected. Today you can make one in a small box with a computer chip about 3 inches by three inches. Proving Moore's Law in more ways than one. So if you were going to build a submarine right now how would you build it? What would power it? What would be its limitations on performance? Could it also fly? Go on land? Who would you pay to build it? How fast could it go? Well we could use a Hydrogen fuel Cell, actually that has already been done and by the way it works fine. No more, Red Octobers, here is some history leading up to this discussion you may find rather interesting. Why Can?t Our Brain Process What We See Faster? Many who admire the excellent design of Mother Nature and the gift of vision and the enhancements thru evolution wonder; Why Can't Our Brain Process What We See Faster? A paper by G. Bugmann and J. G. Taylor suggests that retinal jitter is an issue and could be some of the reason for the delay in the process time, thus by eliminating the extraneous visual input data into the brain the retina would not attempt to over define the object, because it is not necessary, once the object is seen, in a lesser definition, it has been registered and the eye simply moves on. Tactile Pressure Sensors for Future Robotics Scientists and Robotic Researchers are attempting to design human type personal assistance robots. As they work to develop algorithms, which most resemble the thought processes of the human brain others are attempting to make them more life like thru human behavioral techniques of mirroring and facial features. Soon robots will be very much like humans, on the outside that is. Robotic humanoid devices will assist us in many of our needs. Imagine a robotic companion, it might take a walk in the park with you, go jogging or even spot for you lifting weights at the gym. As we get older and cannot do certain things for ourselves our robotic companions will be by our side as caregivers, helping with our life transitions.
