The Reign of Insanity
I know you want to kill me, and I wish to do all I can to help you succeed. Well? that would be insane, but what about this? I know you want to kill my children, destroy my country, and erase all historical evidence of our existence, and I want to do everything I can to help you achieve your goals. Would that be the epitome of insanity? If the leaders of your country were doing these things would you cry out "Treason"? That is exactly what is happening in Israel today, and Israeli's are left stunned wondering what can be done to stop the insane leaders who have wrestled complete control over the government, military, and economy of Israel. Ok? so I am going too far you say? another conspiracy nut. American President George Bush says "I will bring peace to the Middle East". Wait a minute? isn't he supposed to be a Christian? Isn't Jesus the only one who will ultimately bring peace to the Middle East? Isn't the anti-Christ the one who will make a false peace agreement? Hmmm? think I am stretching a bit? It gets better. The prophet Zechariah warned (Christians should be familiar with this, even Christian presidents) that those who burden themselves with Jerusalem will be dashed to pieces. Now a "Christian" president who presumably knows these scriptures, and proclaims a faith in the Jewish Messiah, and yet knowingly leads his nation into the abyss of certain condemnation at the hand of the God he swears he serves desperately needs his head examined. He must be insane! Today in the British Parliament, the podium from which the Prime Minister speaks not only has a Bible resting upon it; it has a Koran resting on top of the Bible. Europe is fast becoming not only a post Christian group of nations, but a pro-Islamic group of nations as well. President Bush embraces Islam as a "peaceful" religion, and the State Department continues to appease and praise the Islamists openly. Did I miss something? Aren't we supposed to be engaged in a worldwide war against terrorism? Has anyone else noticed that nearly every conflict in the world today, and nearly every terrorist act is perpetrated by Islam? The most notable exception might be the Irish Republican Army, but they are sympathetic to the Palestinians and have often cooperated on strategic training and planning. So if we are waging a war on terror, and we are at the same time doing all we can to appease the terrorist, couldn't it be argued that we are suffering from mass dementia on a global scale? I contend that to fight against God, Creator of All things, Master of everything, is tantamount to insanity. The world today, and the "leaders" governing us are at war with God. It is that simple, the flesh of man vs. the Holy Spirit of God. This is insanity at its apex. The world is going to suffer tremendously for this embracement of the devil, and the torment of this insanity will burn forever. Thankfully, none of us have to be turned over to a reprobate mind, we can embrace God instead, love His truth, and surrender to His will. If you have detected in your life a hardening of the heart towards the things of God, I appeal to you to stoop where you are, and fall on your knees in repentance. God does not want that any man (or woman or child) should perish but that all would come to repentance. Lets see? eternal love, goodness, kindness, joy, and fulfillment, or? eternal torment, separation from all that is good, burning, suffering, terrible fear, thirst? which one will I chose, which one will I choose? Have You Neglected This Righteous Cause Of God? As believers, we have a responsibility to care forthose who have been left without a bread winner, whichbegins with the responsibility of caring for our ownfamily and relatives who may be in distress. What They Mean By Child-Like Faith Prv:18:2 A Fool Receiveth Not The Words Of Prudence: Unless Thou Say Those Things Which Are In His Heart The Stilling Of the Storm: In My View Matt. 8:23-27; Mark 4:35-41; Luke 8:22-25. Do Not Believe All You Read In The Holy Books Observation shows that human creative activity has a physical, a social and a spiritual aspect. (By human creative activity I mean useful and constructive activity by human beings). The physical aspect of our creative activity concerns our activity in relation to the physical universe. The social aspect relates mainly to human behaviour and interaction amongst humans. The spiritual aspect of our creative activity primarily concerns our activity in relation to God. Over time, mankind has acquired considerable knowledge of the physical universe. This knowledge has been classified as the physical and natural sciences. Knowledge we have acquired of human behaviour and interaction amongst humans has been classified as social science. This has not been the case with knowledge we have of the spiritual aspect of life. Such knowledge has not been classified as spiritual science. This is so because much of what at present constitute spiritual facts and beliefs cannot be considered as science. A lot of such facts are not backed by proof and many of the beliefs are not founded on reason. Unverifiable conjectures about phenomena and existence beyond this life are professed as truths. The situation at present is such that spiritual works available to us contain fiction, misconceptions, superstition and falsehood in addition to actual facts. I will use some examples from the Christian teaching and Holy Bible to illustrate this point. Firstfruit from Death Guarantees the Coming Harvest The farmer handed buckets to us, the blueberry pickers. "You're kinda early," he said. "The main crop's not ready yet, so you're gonna have to be choosy. Pick only what is fully ripe. Leave the rest. The good part is, all of the biggest and best is still here." Gods Providence in a Jericho Journal What if excavators uncovering ancient Jericho found the following journal? The Stilling of the Storm Matt. 8:23-27; Mark 4:35-41; Luke 8:22-25. Terror; The Lost War Zephaniah 1:14-1:18 The Judgment Seat of Christ The thought of a public examination before the Judgment bar of our Lord should be incentive enough to awaken even the most slumbering saint of God. Yet few, if any, ever give it a second thought. Paul declared, "So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God" (Rom. 14:12). Perhaps if the doctrine of judgment and reward were expounded more from our pulpits there would be more attention given to living a life of holiness and obedience. Think of it. How will you stand in that day? Will you approach Him with confidence or will you stand before Him red-faced and embarrassed over a life of waste and neglect? It is something that we as Christians will all have to do. Are you ready to appear before the judgment seat? And if you say that you are, perhaps you are speaking without the necessary contemplation of the task that lies before you. Yes, the judgment seat will be a most solemn occasion for many in that great day. The Rise And Fall Of Babylon According to the Book of Revelations, the city of Babylon has to be rebuilt once again. This is another key event for everyone to really keep an eye on. Prophecy scholars are divided in their opinion as to whether or not the city of Babylon will literally be rebuilt again. After studying the verses mentioned below - I believe that the Bible is using literal interpretation and it is meaning exactly what it is saying. If this is correct - then the city of Babylon will once more be rebuilt so God can literally wipe this unholy city off the face of this earth! Let Her Be Covered Part One Several weeks ago, while shopping in a grocery store, my wife was approached by a woman who appeared to be very refined -- very courteous manner. She indicated that she had a question that possibly she could answer. She and her husband had observed that some women wear coverings similar to the one that my wife was wearing. Why are they worn? Her husband's opinion was that it signifies marriage. She herself did not concur with that opinion. But why DO you wear it? That was her question. In response, my companion assured her that the wearing of the headcovering is a Biblical teaching recorded in 1 Corinthians 11. To her that was news. She seemingly was not aware that this was a Bible teaching, and with gratitude in her voice, she promised to go home and read for herself from 1 Corinthians 11. Who Me? Wear a Clerical Shirt? Clothing says a great deal about one's profession, and this is no less the case with ministers of the Gospel. The special shirt that ministers wear outside of worship services is known as a clerical shirt or collar shirt, which typically is black or another color with a white collar (sometimes affectionately referred to as a "dog collar"!). Belonging to Jesus Christ In the name of Jesus, what shall we do in the time of grief. We do know that the failing of the Louisiana dams must be corrected. I like to know what the world thinks about this so call great country that have people so poor or disable that they can't even afford a bus ticket out of a city that is drowning, and the government wouldn't even make any provision for them to leave. This land so great a free, where were you in our time of need, that's right I forgot you were so greedy. You take our money and line you and your buddies pockets, and then say we don't want or fit the bill for it. We made your country what it is today. We paid for it with force labor, low wages and long sufferings, from war's past and present. Well let's see what the Bible says about this. First look at 2Corinthians 1:3 it says Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any troubles with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation, if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort. For Sale - God A few days ago, I was watching TV, and I was surfing through the channels, and I came upon a very popular Christian teacher (I will call her Minister X for respect to her and her Ministry) Christian TV show. I am not a follower of Minister X teachings, yet I have heard her enough, to know two things about her. First she seems to be very solid in her bible teachings, as well as she seems to be very well respected in the Christian community. Brief History of Jerusalem; Part 1 Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel.....it is the city of hope.....a city sacred to the Jews, Christians and the Moslems. The city existed before David captured it.In the days of Abraham the Holy city was called Salem " peace". Sex, Lies, & Videotape; Part 2 Acts 5:1-5:10 Sex, Lies and Videotape Part 2. Lies. What are lies? Is a lie an untruth, an omission of all the facts, is it a sin or unrightiouness, is it something that people use to cover-up lawlessness , or is a lie when you withhold all the facts? Yes, to all the above. A lie is a degration of ones own spirit, it gets into a persons attitude and lingers there like a leach, draining the lifes force out of them so that after a while, it becomes second nature not to tell the truth. Battle of Armageddon This will be last and final event of the Great Tribulation. The Bible says that immediately after the Tribulation occurs, Jesus will return back to us for His second coming! Here are 2 key verses on this battle and how it all gets set up in the first place. End of the World | Predictions Prophecies How and When It's the End of the World as we know it... Vegetarianism Millions worldwide suffer from malnutrition and the threat of starvation. One-third of the grain in the world is being used to feed to animals to fatten up for slaughter. The amount of grain fed to animals being raised for slaughter is higher in the United States than other parts of the world. We could feed straving humans this grain instead of fattening up a cow for a fast food restaurant to make a hamburger. A vegetarian diet reduces the risk of heart disease and cancer. It makes weight loss easier and lowers cholesterol. Animals are given hormones and antibiotics, both of which humans can do without in excessive amounts. An added benefit to being a vegetarian is that we do not have to worry about mad cow disease or salmonella poisoning. Rainforests are being destroyed at a rapid rate to make room for cattle to graze. There is a lot of cruelty and abuse present when animals are being raised for slaughter. Moslem America Conclusion Isaiah 55:7-55:9 |
