White Sun - Tao of Heaven. Showers of Wisdom ( Part 1 of 3 )
'Showers of Wisdom' is taught by JiGong, the Heavenly teacher of Tao of Heaven appointed by Lao Mu. JiGong is a very popular deity worshipped by Taoist in the millions. He was the reincarnation of one of the 18 Arhats and he was a monk dressed like a beggar during the Song Dynasty. A man of boundless virtues, he walked thousands of miles without a penny in his pocket and a roof over his head, preaching the truth until the day he died. In the teachings of Tao of Heaven, Master Chang Tienzen of Jining, Shantung Province was the rebirth of JiGong. He was born on the 19th day of the 7th lunar month in the 13th year of the reign of Guangshu (1889) during the Ching Dynasty. Master Chang Tienzen became the Heavenly master in 1947, the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, when the moon was the biggest, roundest and brightest. When he was born, it was stated that the Yellow River went clear signifying the birth of a sage. His left palm had a red mark of the sun and his right palm had the mark of the moon. Part 1 of 3 is only a small portion of his teachings and this is what he says about bitterness of life to let us understand the pain and suffering that we have to face in life. [1] The greatest sadness in a man's life is to have a spiteful wife and an infilial son. [2] The most wicked thing is to have someone repays one's kindness with injury. [3] The greatest misery is to be in an extremely distress state. [4] The most disheartening thing is for one's friend and family to abandon him. [5] The greatest frustration is to have success snatched from one's easy grip. [6] The greatest regret is to let one's words or actions stray into the wrong. [7] The most exhausting thing is to be under tremendous mental pressure. All these are the most painful and bitter encounters of a person's life. Life's most unavoidable circumstances. [1] The pain of not having what one desires to have. [2] The pain of being separated from the one you love most of all [3] The pain of feeling bitterness toward someone [4] Illness, hunger, struggling for food, working hard for fame and profit, anxiety about the burden of family.... All of life's accumulated virtues can be destroyed by just one vice, just like a bird in its ardent search for food is suddenly seized by a predator. All such tragic instances are caused by greed. To get bullied or killed by unnatural means, to get caught up in natural and human caused disasters, war and ruthless destruction...these are the most tragic fates of a person's life. Author: T.A ChewWebsite: http://www.white-sun.com T.A Chew became a devotee of Tao of Heaven in March the 15th, 1995. He was told by Goddess of Mercy to become a vegetarian and by JiGong to start preaching Tao in Oct 23rd the same year. Immediately he took the 'vegetarian vow' to become a life long vegetarian and started to write Tao book and preach the teachings of Tao.

Religion has Served Its Usefulness for Mankind As the world becomes closer and closer together, there seems to be a problem with the World's religions. It is time to close them down. The hypocrisy in all religions is unnerving and shows a complete beak down of mankind's mental capacity and inability to cope with the current projected reality. Are You Doing the Good Part? Just compare yourself to these two sisters. Gods People Are Destroyed For Lack of Knowledge These next two verses are extreme - and I mean extreme! These two verses are telling us that God's people are literally, and I mean literally, being destroyed for lack of knowledge. The second verse below says that God's people can literally go into captivity as a result of not having the right amount of knowledge about something. We Are From Jesus Christ Most people wonder at one time or another where do we as humans come from, or how do we breathe. Some say from evolution and some say from air. Well I like to dispute this way of thinking. Has anyone every ask them were do evolution come from, or what makes air? Let's see what the Bible says; look at Genesis 1:1 In the Beginning God created the Heavens and the earth. If you continue reading in Genesis 1 at verse 27 it says So, God created man in his own image, in the image, of God he created him; male and female he created them. This chapter also explains how the World was started. It states in John 1:3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. Now continue on to Genesis 2:7 it says the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. Belonging to Jesus Christ In the name of Jesus, what shall we do in the time of grief. We do know that the failing of the Louisiana dams must be corrected. I like to know what the world thinks about this so call great country that have people so poor or disable that they can't even afford a bus ticket out of a city that is drowning, and the government wouldn't even make any provision for them to leave. This land so great a free, where were you in our time of need, that's right I forgot you were so greedy. You take our money and line you and your buddies pockets, and then say we don't want or fit the bill for it. We made your country what it is today. We paid for it with force labor, low wages and long sufferings, from war's past and present. Well let's see what the Bible says about this. First look at 2Corinthians 1:3 it says Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any troubles with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation, if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort. Treachery in the Midst of the Land The term Scripture uses to describe the activities of those who attempt to sell-out Israel comes to mind. "Treacherous!" Knowledge Of The Power For it is written in Proverbs 1:7 it says The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. Some may ask, what is knowledge? Well let's see what the Bible says. In Proverbs 18:16 it says A gift opens the way for the giver and ushers him into the presence of the great. Now in Proverbs 19:2 it says It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, and nor to be hasty and miss the way. Living Without Blueprints Some people look at the biblical book of Revelation as a blueprint for the end of time. It tells exactly when the end will come, how it will come and who will be punished when it happens. Those with this perspective buy up apocalyptic fiction like the "Left Behind" series and confidently pronounce that we are in the "end times." They may even associate certain modern day figures or happenings with supposed end-of-times events. There are three basic problems with this perspective: (1) It is counter to the pronouncements of Jesus himself; (2) It ignores the long history of people who have tried to use Revelation in this way; and (3) It is counter to the nature of faith itself. Let's look at these three problem areas more closely. Amos and Social Justice - Part 1 Amos was a shepherd who lived in the region of Tekoa, not many miles from the city of Jerusalem. He earned his living by raising sheep and taking care of sycamore trees. He was not a prophet, son of a prophet or priest. He was an ordinary man chosen by God for a specific purpose: to prophesy to Israel. God called him, shepherd's staff in hand, and sent him forth to warn his straying people. Slaves Songs and Freedom It may seem trite and naïve to suggest we can use the codes that slaves used in their Gospel songs to truly communicate. Unfortunately these black Americans now believe the Gospels they used to make their masters think they were happy and going along with the slave driver. It may seem paranoid to suggest we are still slaves even if we have lots of goodies or three cars in the garage. The truth of our world civilization is not very civilized. The wars and borders that keep us fighting or seeking to be chosen above 'others' in some racist ideology that includes frequent genocides is real. All religions are obviously not trying to let people know that whatever God might be it does not vary from one place to another and all life is part of it. They must start saying they all worship the same thing and tell their followers no one is better than anyone else. Helping Others - What Did Jesus Say? Helping others was something Jesus did on a dailybasis. He was constantly approached by people, but Healways found time to stop what He was doing to helpthose in need. This is a lesson we must learn if wewant to be anything like Jesus, our savior. For Sale - God A few days ago, I was watching TV, and I was surfing through the channels, and I came upon a very popular Christian teacher (I will call her Minister X for respect to her and her Ministry) Christian TV show. I am not a follower of Minister X teachings, yet I have heard her enough, to know two things about her. First she seems to be very solid in her bible teachings, as well as she seems to be very well respected in the Christian community. The Catholic Obsession with Martyrs and the Question of Pain and Suffering The Catholic Church is kind of like a forest sometimes. Someone on the outside looking in sees nothing but thousands of trees?and most of them look alike. They can see a definite shape to the forest, and elevations that someone inside might miss. On the other hand, they'll never see up-close nature like the plants and animals inside. They can hear about them, but never live through the experience. Growing in the Knowledge of God This first verse completely sets the stage for you to be able to receive knowledge from the Lord. This first verse is literally telling us that God is wanting us to grow in the knowledge of Him and His Son Jesus. "... but GROW in the grace and KNOWLEDGE of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." (2 Peter 3:18)This verse is only one short sentence long, but a lot is being said in it. After we get saved, God expects us to start growing in the knowledge that He wants to transmit to us. And the only way we can spiritually grow is by seeking after the knowledge that will cause this growth to occur in the first place! This right here is why a lot of Christians do not make much spiritual growth over the course of their lives after they initially get saved - because they are not seeking after the knowledge of God that will cause this growth to actually occur. Is Buddhism A Religion? Buddhism is a teaching which has spread worldwide absorbing the culture of each country it arrived in, which has resulted in many expressions of Buddhism. Each strand, no matter how varied in nature and practice, holds a common emphasis on the impermanence of human life. The worldwide spread of Buddhism means that it is now practiced by over three hundred million people worldwide, and thus, is generally considered to be a world religion. However, its authenticity as a religion has often come under scrutiny by intellectuals in the Western world. To explore whether Buddhism can in fact be counted as a religion we must acknowledge that the main problems arise when looking for a definition of what a religion is. Either, definitions have proved too narrow excluding many belief systems which people believe are religious, or they become too broad which means that any structure can be counted. When applying varying definitions of religion to Buddhism we come up with some very contradictory answers; some which say that Buddhism is simply a philosophy or teaching, whilst others will prove that it is in fact, a religion in practice. Kabbalistic Chanukah: The Downloading of Primordial Light God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.(Genesis 1:3) How To Avoid Deception! GREAT PROPHECY TIPS Jesus Christ, King of the Jews In 132 CE, Simon Bar Kosiba organized and led a large guerilla army in revolt against Roman occupation. He succeeded in actually throwing the Romans out of Jerusalem and Israel and establishing, although for only a brief period, an independent Jewish state.
