Majesty Works
Webster's dictionary explains majesty meaning a title used to speaking of or to a monarch. Or Dignity, splendor, and grandeur. Is Jesus speaking to us. Look at Psalms 19:1 it says: The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. Some people will beg to differ regarding Psalms 19:1 But have you ever wondered what made the stars in the sky, the moon and the sun. Let me take you to a website were you can see for yourself some of the knowledge of God. Have you ever heard of the northern lights. Well many people have. They are lights from heaven that are unexplainable. Many people will say because of science studies this and that, which are all disputable, but they still cannot pinpoint a reason. These light have been around since the beginning of time. So please take a look at the photos even read this website and compare it to the Bible and decide what you believe to be true. But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task? Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God. Melchizedek the Priest This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him, and Abraham gave him a tenth of everything. First, his name means "king of righteousness"; then also, "king of Salem" means "king of peace." Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God he remains a priest forever. Just think how great he was: Even the patriarch Abraham gave him a tenth of the plunder! Now the law requires the descendants of Levi who become priests to collect a tenth from the people-that is, their brothers-even though their brothers are descended from Abraham. This man, however, did not trace his descent from Levi, yet he collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises. And without doubt the lesser person is blessed by the greater. In the one case, the tenth is collected by men who die; but in the other case, by him who is declared to be living. One might even say that Levi, who collects the tenth, paid the tenth through Abraham, because when Melchizedek met Abraham, Levi was still in the body of his ancestor. Hebrews 7:1. Now is that a mystery or what. Melchizedek was living in the body of his ancestor and was a priest of the God Most High, now remember during Abraham time people lived to be at least 100 or more years. What a wonderful Blessing to know that if we give to the men of Christ Ministries how Bless we will be. Books of the Living and Dead Revelation 20:12 makes a powerful claim: "And I saw the dead, great and small alike, standing before the throne. Books were opened, and then another book was opened, [called] the book of the living. The dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books." Mystery, not Myth: Jesus Christ is real! In the children's section of any bookstore, books on the birth of Jesus stand next to Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk. The same parents who describe Santa Claus so convincingly also tell their children of Another who knows if they've been "naughty or nice." No wonder many children cast aside the Father and the Son at about the time they give up their belief inthe Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny. Anointed versus Talented: Whats the Difference? Talent is defined as: "Natural endowment or ability of a superior quality". The word talent comes from a Greek word that also tells us about something of great value as described in Matthew 25:15-30. Teach Your Child to Pray There are so many books out there on being a praying woman, or a praying wife, husband, nation, etc, but I'm not familiar with one about teaching my child to pray. A child that prays can have such an impact on his family, friends, and nation. If we as parents could teach our children this awesome phenonemon, we really could change the world one kid at a time. The Armorbearer Coach & The Character of Christ In You And even though Jesus was God's Son, He had to learn from experience what it was like to obey, when obeying meant problems and difficulties. ?Hebrews 5:8 TLB paraphrased by author Living Proof: We are Living in the Days of Noah A familiar phrase used in Bible prophecy is the term "Days of Noah." Jesus warned, "For as in the days of Noah before the flood, they were eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the very day Noah entered the ark. And they did not know or understand until the flood came and swept them all away-so will be the coming of the Son of Man (Matthew 24: 38-39.)" This illustration is used to show mankind what signs they must look for upon Christ return. The book of Genesis records that before flooding the Earth, the Lord saw that the wickedness of men was great, and that every intent of the thoughts of men's heart was continually evil. This description can easily be applied to the current times we are living in. From all corners of the Earth, various societies can hear the bloodthirsty hearts of the terrorist beating to the same deadly drum. Are there more clues that allude to the fact that we are truly indeed living in the Days of Noah? Could there have been more going on besides the wickedness the Lord witnessed? Jesus Was a Hippie Actually he was more appropriately called a Cynic, but that kind of free-thinking humanist is indeed kin to being a Hippie. The Cynics were a school of thought or religious approach to intellectual understanding which many more modern hippies seem to emulate. Translator Robs Beauty of Words Today we are looking at one of the most beautiful words in the Bible that has been rendered almost meaningless and its power stripped by the translators. Let's begin by taking a look at Heb. 13:22. Choosing the Christian Path - 147.5 million Americans claim affiliation with a religious group In Divers Places Isaiah 65:17-65:25 Hope and Restoration in the Valley The bible tells a story about the prophet Ezekiel who envisioned a valley full of dry bones. God led Ezekiel back and forth in the midst of this valley, surrounded by dry bones. God asked Ezekiel "Can these bones live?" Ezekiel replied, "God, only you can answer that." God commanded Ezekiel to speak life into the many dry bones. Ezekiel prophesied to the bones as God commanded, and before he finished speaking, he heard a rattling noise as the bones came together, bone to bone. As he looked, muscle and skin covered the bones, but the bones still had no life. Then God commanded him to speak life into the bones, and as he spoke the words, an amazingly great host came back to life and stood upon their feet. Development of Liberal Theology: An Overview (Part 2) The American theologian Horace Bushnell also played a vital role in the advancement of liberal theology. Bushnell's liberalism included historical tradition and took into account the emotional nature of religion. He espoused the supernatural character of personality and the immanence of God in personality. By means of preaching, teaching, writing and personal practice, Bushnell attempted to divert man away from dogmas and to seek satisfaction and security in experience. In his book, Religion in America, Hudson pointed out:?the real key to the influence of Bushnell upon his contemporaries was his success in fashioning a definitely Christocentric theology that was based upon Christian experience rather than upon any external dogmatic authority. Thus the believer was no longer under compulsion to find his security in biblical proof texts. He could not accept the conclusions of biblical scholars with relative equanimity and appropriate the results of other scientific investigations without great difficulty because his faith was validated by the inward testimony of the heart?Bushnell found a freedom denied to those who felt compelled to meet a rationalistic assault with a purely rationalistic defense. Tongue of the Power The purposes of a man's heart are deep waters, but a man of understanding draws them out. Proverbs 20: 5. It has been said that to be careful what you ask for you just might get it. The Bible says; ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7. What a blessing to know that whatever you ask for you will receive it as long as it is in line with the word of Jesus Christ. Did you know that we have powerful tools we can use which is our speech, and minds. The Bible tells us over and over again that if we ask for anything in Jesus name we shall receive it. What Is Faith? 1. Faith is a "spiritual substance" on the inside of you that can either grow or wane (decrease). The Bible says that: Resurrection Faith (Part 1) At the heart of Christianity is a cross; and one of the most significant things about the cross is that it is bare. Christians down through the ages have been sure that Jesus' disgracing death on the cross of Calvary was not the end of the story. Rather, it was the beginning. While the World is on Fire Revelation 8:8-8:9 Russia and Her Allies Will Attack Israel This next event will be a major one! The Bible says that in the latter days, Russia and what appears to be Iran, Libya, Turkey and possibly Sudan will descend upon Israel and try to destroy her. Moslem America Conclusion Isaiah 55:7-55:9 The Gospel Of Convenience The subject of this document is so unpleasing to the 21st century American Christian, I believe that by writing it, I will step across a threshold of "Main stream evangelical Christian", to a "radical", a "dissenter", "out there" and even "lost" in the eyes of some folks who read these words. So be it. |
