Russian State Administration Gives New Facelift to Oil and Energy Resources
With the world's largest oil and natural gas reserves, second in coal production and eighth largest oil assembly, President Vladimir Putin draws grandiose plan for the country's hydrocarbon reserve encouraging drilling and investment plans aimed at further development. Private investments, domestic or foreign is however, a big no-no, rather state government plays the steward to Russia's energy patrimony or to say 'serve the national interest'. "Hydrocarbons are an extremely important sphere of our potential cooperation" Putin says in an interview "but I would like to stress: we are already cooperating in the electric power, primarily engineering for the electric power sector". Given today's high oil prices, state government sounds positive to funding new projects. Additionally, Indian and Chinese government shows willingness to do business with Russian companies with their investment criteria more in line with the approach favored by their Russian hosts. Putin further stressed state government to have larger share while a meager chunk gifted to private investors mainly in electricity sector. The post Cold-War relics witnessed Russian industries as highly inefficient, combined with under-nourished investment opportunities and mismanagement dominating the sector; of which petroleum poised to have a serious impact overall. Further huge infusion of capital, technology and negligent exploration management hit the production to a record-low and decline. This is return could have foiled Putin's plan and country's national honor. Putin must recognize that to put back the country's faltering image, he needs a petroleum sector with well-managed and well-capitalized oil, gas and pipelines. Russia's oil and gas industry being the backbone to the country's economy generate fifty percent of the total revenues and taxes and most of foreign exchange, need balanced combination of public and private governance. A faltering Russian oil sector would be a disaster for the world economy as well as for Russia itself. Time for a New Canadian Party It is time for a change. A change in philosophy, a change in the 3 party system. A change in politicians not being held accountable for promises they had no intention of delivering. It is time for a new political party to emerge from the sham that is the Canadian so-called democratic system. Rather than taking these prisoners in and putting up the costs to feed them until after a war has ended, why not hibernate them instead. In other words take their bodies down by 90% and hibernate them like a bear. Is this really possible? Yes, with a little bit of funding it surely is possible, as a matter of fact a gentleman by the name of Mark Roth and his associates have successfully put mice into suspended animation using hydrogen sulfide gas in the proper ratios. Normally hydrogen sulfide gas can be a deadly toxic gas but in the right amounts it merely puts mammals to sleep. Perhaps we could simply fire rockets or cluster bomb smart munitions filled with this gas into the advancing enemy, pile up the bodies and put them into a cage and when they finally do wake up, feed them and then put them to sleep again. Of course taking out a few for interrogations. Profiling Eco-terrorists The FBI recently before Congress stated that Eco-Terrorism was on the rise and it is probably the most significant current Domestic Threat. Unfortunately it is somewhat hard to profile these folks as most are misfits of society and somewhat socially inept. They do have some common ground however. We need OBL to keep us in fear. Without a really evil type protagonist it makes everyone look really stupid in all these Middle Eastern conflicts? We have tried to promote other bad guys to the scene, various Cleric Lunatics who are in sighting Muslim Radical Jihadists to the battle. But it is not working. Everyone is asking where Osama bin Laden really is. Hiding in a cave sounded really funny and cool, but obviously that was bogus? Why Do US Media Ignore Secret UK Government Memo On A Mega Iraq War Conspiracy? The blogosphere has been jumping around the story like crazy but it seems the mainstream media are doing their best to ignore it. Yet it's been branded the most extensive case of governing-level conspiracy plotting in ages. CNN spent very limited time on it and that's also a pretty accurate indicator of the attention most other media outlets have devoted to it so far. Even though some 88 members of Congress openly inquired about it and a few other US opionion leaders spoke out against it. But that was it more or less. What was? A recently leaked internal UK government memo dated July 2002, that was so secret extra copies could not be made, not even for internal use. Seven Things That Make Me Angry I watch the TV news and I get angry. I really need to quit that. It's not good for my blood pressure. However, there are certain things that always get me going no matter how hard I try to ignore them. They get me hot under the collar and I guess they always will. I feel a need to vent right now, so I'll discuss seven of them below. (Hey, that's a nice round biblical number). Jihad Will Continue The Jihad against the Western World will continue. It will also continue against the Eastern World next. Why is this happening; why do they continually plan to attack innocent life? Why are they using this weapon against others? Why are they using their religion to build their International Terrorist Teams and recruit suicide Jihadists? Well the answer to the question is because it works. The Jihad works and many are folding their hand. Mass Media hysteria and fear have taken their toll on weak peoples of many countries, who are surrendering their freedoms and their civilization's forward progression to this simplest of tactics. Spain in the Madrid Bombings caved into International Terrorism, they should have never done that. Such a back track will not save them from future attacks and it certainly assists the Jihadists in their war on the civilized world. Lack of Peace, Reaching Critical Mass You have in front of you two buttons, one is green the other is black. The green button represents peace and love, the black button represents war and hate and you were put in charge of choosing what the rest of humanity will experience on earth. Which one will you choose and why? Wartime Prisoners and the Will to Fight; War is Hell, Let?s Win Alright? We learned some lessons in these last few wars. For instance: some of Saddam's Iraqi army personal may have given up or volunteered to give up to slow us down. Prisoners take time to handle and resources to collect. Some are now saying we should not have spared them. He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day. The only thing relevant of the Geneva Convention rules for modern warfare in collecting and giving back prisoners, is that you have guaranteed future wars as those prisoners return to their state and tell of the over embellished atrocities of the enemy. Ironic that you can spare someone and return them to their family and they live to make things worse for you later. Ronald Reagan is Right Why is it that every single thing government does; it does not do well? Why is it that every single mistake of any real hurt is caused by the government? Why is it that every time government screws up AGAIN, we are told that they will fix the problem? Yah right? When has government ever fixed anything? Ronald Reagan once said the most scary words in the English Language were; "Hi, I'm from the Government; and I am here to help you!" he later said when asked about that quote that he could not recant it and offered advice to anyone who hears it; "RUN" he said. 911 Could Have Been Prevented, Was It Bush?s Fault? September 11, 2001 could have been prevented. We could have stopped that International Terrorist Act had we just employed a few simple tools. If we would have simply kept our eyes and ears open and had a plan in place. Was it Bush's fault? No, it was America's fault. It is our fault for thinking every thing was fine and that the CIA and FBI could protect us from any one of a hundred different types of attacks. International Terrorists have so many ways to attack us. The History of Trade and Using it as a Weapon for Peace The Flow of Trade is a major consideration of civilizations and cultures working together to insure that they can get what they need. Some areas have special crops, which grow in their regions, which the other regions would like to have. In days of the First colonies in this country, before it was a country trade with the local Indians were vital to them staying alive. Our ancestors traded with the Native Indian tribes to insure the colony had the food and things needed to get through the winter months. Government Franchise Model; taking it virtual Our government is set up like a modern day franchise. Let me explain: the Federal government is the franchisor run by three sets of committees (board of directors of divisions). States are the master franchisees. Counties are the franchisees and have managers of each store (cities). Where does this leave You and I? Well we are the customers (voters). So, then here is a summary of thoughts preceding this conversation and an open ended debate for those who dare to question authority or those who find themselves thinking conspiracy theory thoughts while watching events unfold in our mass media.
