Profiling Eco-terrorists
The FBI recently before Congress stated that Eco-Terrorism was on the rise and it is probably the most significant current Domestic Threat. Unfortunately it is somewhat hard to profile these folks as most are misfits of society and somewhat socially inept. They do have some common ground however. First they hate Modern Day Corporations and believe that any problem of our society stems from corporations. They blame McDonald's for making us fat; Tobacco companies for cancer; Oil companies for world poverty and Drug Companies for diseases in third world nations. They cite example after example of skewed and selective attacks on corporate advertising rather than personal responsibility. They are conspiracy theorists generally. Almost all of them are heavy into drugs and are the first to tell you that it is not a problem at all. They are all for legalizing marijuana and taxation to solve any economic crisis. They all believe in free health care. They were Jerry Garcia caps in many colors to cover their matted hair because they rarely take showers. Despite all the backwards thinking and drugs many are intelligent and use this intelligence to just get by and sponge off others who have means. Many times they have wealthy friends who are trust fund babies and fund their alcohol and drug addictions, which they deny. Most of their wealthier friends know of their activities but do not come forward, as these ELF people provide social acceptance for them, that perhaps the trust fund babies lacked growing up. Generally the ELF groups are groups of what some to believe to be total losers and one could hardly disagree upon study of the profile of those Eco-Terrorists who have already been caught by the Canadian Mounties or the FBI in the United States. Usually each group of ELF is a loosely affiliated group, which has a personal call to the cause and may not even be in regular contact with other groups. This makes them harder to catch, but not impossible as many of these groups have been infiltrated by FBI, local enforcement and informants. Eco-terrorists have started huge forest fires, although deny those usually. Burned down entire resort towns, often deciding not to take credit for it. Burned down million dollar homes in the woods and rural areas. They have attacked laboratories, research facilities and corporations. They have burned down car dealerships, lumberyards, kennels and construction projects. They claim to be helping the environment by polluting trillions of cubic units of our atmosphere, killing helpless animals in the forest and sending toxic fumes into the city? They do this in the name of Environmentalism? This just proves that drugs warp your mind and that these folks are clearly a nuisance as well as a clear and present danger to our civilization. There goals and objectives also seem to coincide with much of the Islamic radical fundamentalist International Terrorist and some believe that there are ELF cells who have been infiltrated by Al Queda. I believe this is occurring, since their objectives are so similar and it is a Canadian based organization. Think about it. It is the power of symbolism, and it cannot be escaped, but can only "used" to bring truth, or "abused" to bring propaganda. The French sociologist Pierre Bourdier claims, that it is the opportunity to create reality with the help of words: we are approaching the time, when the social universe is described and prescribed by mass media. One cannot but agree with this view. Where have all the Heroes gone America is filled with standouts and perserverance; our nation has a rich heritage of strength and honor. We have so many heroes in our short 200 years of history it is hard to keep them all straight. Think of your favorite hero. So are many other great Americans. I can think of so many. Can you? How about the heroes of the past decade; what are their names? Can you name ten? Name them. If you cannot can you; you proved my point. As we have approached sameness and liberal views of; we are all equal; I challenge you to name these people, and we all admit there are heroes amongst us right? Colonel Boyd on Limited War and Iraq Victory In discussing the OODA Loop theory on Limited War by Colonel Boyd with in the context and patterns of conflict, it appears that we as a nation have forgotten the other options dictated by previous conflicts in the works of von Clauswitz "On War" in that we are disregarding such options and scenarios entirely. In our attempt to move the human race into a different space we are also changing the theory of war in order to do so. Public Utilities, Monopolies and Problematic Structures Public utilities and a problematic issue on the allowance of profits. We all know that if you are only allowed to make 15 percent profit as in the case of Utilities Companies then why not spend more money so you can make 15 percent go up. For instance if you make $100 which are only allowed to keep 15, that you make two hundred dollars, then you get to keep 30. A utility is a quasi government agency in that it has no competition; it is regulated by government. It is a forced monopoly, so monopolies are fine as long as the government says so, yet very inefficient and to that end when you take an inefficient business model whether it is steel or energy and throw it into a deregulated ring where strong survive, you learn real quick just how inefficient and out of shape it is. Companies, which become or are labeled monopolies by government, yet got there through fierce competition are much different than companies, which are monopolies which were in fact created by the government. For they know not what they do; Federal Regulators destroying business Federal Regulations on Business Destroy America, these regulations are a tax passed onto the every American. How much does Federal Regulations Cost each year to our society. You are not going to like these figures. It is estimated that Federal Rules and Regulations cost in excess of 788 Billion per year. Our entire federal tax contribution to our government is 829 Billion. Think of it this way every cost to a business is passed on to the consumers and in some respects that is a tax as well. It means you pay extra for nearly everything. Did you know the entire GNP of Canada is only 595 Billion total. Think of this, every time our company sells a franchise or our franchisees wash a car a large part of that price is due to over government regulation. If 788 Billion is the total cost of regulations and many of the things that are required may actually be approved by the public and only half of the regulations are legitimate to "Protect the People" our governments ONLY real job, then 394 Billion dollars is passed onto the consumer as a HIDDEN TAX. Of course there are many names for these taxes we pass on to our consumers and not by desire. Boris Yeltsin said they did this to Russia and I know it is the old 'play both ends against the middle' game that keeps people like the Klansmen acting out their egos and fears. A Workable Alternative to Term Limits The end of another election once again brings into focus the problem of Washington politicians raising money and running for re-election as soon as they get into office. Many citizens and various government-accountability advocacy groups have done little more than complain from time to time. However, some of them, along with many members of the media, have been pushing for term limits as a solution. But is that really the solution we need? Even with term limits, we would still be left with the same old problems, only in smaller doses, i.e., politicians would still be playing the same old campa igning and fund raising games for whatever amount of subsequent terms they are allowed. Also, we would still be stuck with the situation in which sitting Senators and Representatives (even those with no remaining terms for the office they hold) spend their time running for higher office. I would like to discuss a few issues we have been reading in the mass media about the kinds of stuff in our rivers. Forget about the DDT and all the pesticides from Industry, we need to look at our own lives and in our own mirror. Because when it comes to citizenry, most have no right to complain. Insect repellants and chemicals were found in the water. The kind you spray on bushes around the house and in the house foggers that come in aeresol. This was found in 74% of all the major rivers and of tests in more than 40 states. Fragrances like perfume and cologne found in 27% of rivers. Caffeine? Yep, in 70% of the rivers tested and in very high concentrations compared with other chemicals. How does this get in? North Korea and Diplomatic Solutions; Random Thoughts Part III Sizing up North Korea is important for a war there. We must leave all options on the table and of course give the Chairman of North Korea the respect he wishes while remaining firm as Hell until it freezes over in fact if that's what it takes; I now conclude my random thoughts over the last few years on North Korea and Diplomatic Solutions. Cindy Sheehan ? President Bush and the Accountability Moment Death may not be dignified in any light but the way it is perceived, handled and finally dealt with can be under certain circumstances even less dignified. The cause Cindy Sheehan has undertaken may or may not be worthy depending on who you ask. I choose not to ask anyone but rather I would ask a question of a different sort. It is not a question of the Presidents moment of accountability but of her son's accountability. I would ask this question to her or anyone who might dare to question his moment of accountability. He did have one, let us examine it.
