WiMax Election Strategy
So you are ready to run for public office are you? You want to start at the city level? Good idea, as you like many other Americans are not satisfied and want to help fix the world? So you are ready to go, right? Well what is your platform, what new ideas are you going to bring to the table? Have you thought much on that one? No? Well, how about a platform calling for citywide Internet Wireless access? Wow, that would be something that would get everyone all jazzed and talking about your issues. Literally gapping the digital divide in your own city. WiMax stands for Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access. It is like WiFi for your wireless laptop or other such device but it is 50 times more powerful. It works on 802.16 instead of WiFi, which works on 802.11. You can have both in one area without any electronic conflicts. Some cities are already planning this and some already have it. Some WiMax locations can work for 5 to 25 miles away. Wal-Mart is even thinking of blasting it from all their stores? Imagine instant communication from 7500 Wal-Mart stores? Now that is some serious instant coverage? This makes Vonage seem even better doesn't it? Mobile wireless Internet phone; all this shows how one technology can trump another indeed. Imagine running on a 802.16 platform for city council. Example, elect Bob to city council and I will see that WiMax is available to the Internet all over the city; citywide? No more dial up or other problems and best of all the speed of WiMax will blow the doors off anything else. A WiMAX antenna can beam high-speed Internet connections to homes and businesses of up to 30 miles. Many cities have already begun to launch their WiMax systems including Tempe, AZ, Washington D.C., LA, NYC, Boston, Atlanta, Tampa, Providence and many others are contemplating this right now. If you are running for office you need to tell the citizens about WiMax and its advantages to your city and how you plan to gap the digital divide once and for all, that's the ticket. Think about it. Each time we put up a barrier or tax something we slow down our civilization and that has a ripple effect which extends past the regions where those toll ways are. Toll Ways are a tax on civilization and make no sense because they slow economic progress and therefore cause a decrease in economic output and the over all tax base of payroll and sales tax. In the end we all lose. But how much did we lose and how much are we losing each day? The US Government; Under Sarbaines Oxley Sarbaines Oxley was probably the easiest way to destroy free enterprise and it could be the quickest way to losing our government. If Agencies were forced into the same standards as the business community then they would be forced to close their doors. Yet, they attack American business over such things but cannot balance their own books. They attack and file lawsuits against our Nation's greatest assets, our entrepreneurs and business folks. With whose money? With your money, that's whose. This is the worst hypocrisy in the history of our Industrialized Nation. For instance the GAO cannot seem to figure out the chicken scratch that the FTC calls financial documents and budget justification. This is somewhat bothersome, as they have publicly stated that they would use nuclear weapons on the United States if we tried to interfere. Well, it seems that as if this is an International Terrorist threat by a nation state's General and therefore, it must be recanted by him and we must ask China to remove him from power. If they fail to do so, we must act decisively and attack China now using everything in our arsenal including large Mega tonnage Nuclear Weapons. After this is done, we can then prove to the world that Nuclear Weapons are evil and must not ever be used again. This will be proof positive of the devastating power of Nuclear Weapons. First I agree with the Professor regarding the rhetoric and questionable comments from the Minute Men, I agree with the problematic liability, I agree with our own national debate that few in our population see the issues on both sides. We have Bill O'Rielly and other commentators on one side and we have those who wish to make a better life supplying the labor we need on the other side. We have 5.2% unemployment and that number is so low we need labor to run our civilization pre-robotic era in our present period. How Small Business Benefits From Supporting Labor Unions For a short time I worked as a union officer for the office workers' union at Walt Disney studios. It was a very educational experience and one thing I learned is that people have a strange attitude about the relationship between unions and business management. All too many business managers think of the union as their enemy, and unfortunately too many union members think the same thing about management. The sad part of it is, both sides are working toward the same goals. Is the FTC not attacking the Starbucks because all of its employees go to the one across the street in Washington, D.C..
