How to Flirt and Never Get Rejected!
When it comes to flirting, you can get your point across very easily just using your eyes. Take a moment and watch people who are in love. See how they look at each other - they stare directly into each other's eys for extended periods of time. Look at mere friends. See their eyes? They seem to flit back and forth, making eye contact, but never extended eye contact. What do I mean by extended eye contact? Holding someone's gaze for 1-2 seconds. Looking deep into their eyes for that time. I realize that couples may look at each other in this way for longer periods of time, but remember they are ALLOWED to do this - they are a couple. For our purposes, you are just flirting. If you were to try and stare into some girl's eyes for long periods of time (especially if you don't know her), she will think that you're staring at her and she'll think that you're strange (because you're making her feel uncomfortable). The goal here is to make eye contact with her, and to hold her attention by looking straight into her eyes for a couple of seconds so that she gets the idea that you're interested in her. Be sure to smile, or to at least have a partial smile on your face as you do this. If you stare at her like this with a stone face, you'll freak her out. She'll either think that you're mad at her, or that you're just some type of psycho (both are bad). If she seems to quickly look away, she is either playing hard to get, or she doesn't have an interest in you. Either way, if you feel that she's worth the effort, you will probably have to persue some decent conversation with her. I have to share this with you all. I met a guy a few months ago. He seemed like a decent guy. I met him at a restaurant, and we kind-of hit it off, so when he asked me to go out, I said yes. We became friends so to speak, on the phone or when I saw him at the restaurant. I started having doubts about him though when he would make plans and change them all the time, like I was on his schedule and had no life of my own. So finally I said forget it, this isn't going to work, it was even hard for me to be friends with someone who was so inconsiderate, so I told him not to call anymore. I saw him a few more times after that and he begged me for one more chance. I said to him, "this is it if you don't keep the plans, your just out of luck because I am only giving you this one opportunity". He called that weekend and I went out with him the next day. The date went fine, we had a lot in common and we had fun, he made me laugh and that was important, He said he knew what it was he wanted and he hoped we could see each other again. I agreed and left it at that. No More Desperation Dating When you think about what you find attractive in a person, what comes to mind? Tall, dark and handsome? Blonde and curvaceous? Because this change would affect so many people, I had to strategically communicate my intent. Next, I had to talk to a few key people that would assist me in this area. I wasn't sure who to talk to and I didn't want to talk to the wrong people so I decided to be still and wait for a divine connection. I had a particular person in mind to talk to about this. I knew that if anyone could assist me, he could and he would. I was a bit reluctant at approaching him due to his busy schedule so I continued to be still and wait. How to Find the Background of Your Online Date The popularity of online dating has increased dramatically over the past few years. While most online daters are honest and straightforward, some seriously misrepresent themselves. Here are some safety tips and steps to help you weed out the good from the bad and help others do the same. Personal Values and Christian Dating Personal values is an important point when it comes to Christian dating. Being a Christian means that you know what Jesus Christ did on the cross and, you are trusting Him to forgive you, and trusting in His death, burial, and resurrection to be enough to cleanse you of your sin. As a result of this you have allowed Him, through the Spirit of God to begin to work some changes in your life, bringing in a new value system. Personal values should be one of the anchors for any Christian dating. Breaking Up The first thing you should do is talk about what happened, to your closest friend or family member. Just let it all out. The more you talk about what happened, the better you'll feel about it later on. You still have someone that cares about you, your friend or family member. |
