You can submit your own informative article to ezine publishers. If your article is written well, chances are they'll use it in their ezines. Remember to include a "resource box" at the end of the article which is an ad for your website. Tests have proven that readers click on links provided in the "resource box"

You can generate traffic by participating in discussion groups. www.howtocorp.com/forum and www.ablake.net/forum are really good discussion forums with lots of active members and visitors. Because of the large amounts of traffic these forums receive, posts will be viewed many times, and curious people will always click on links provided in the message.
