Prophetic Ministry: Affirmations From Scripture to Teach Us Who We Are In Christ
To learn who you are in Christ, you must know what God says about you. The Holy Bible tells us to do many things. Notice the number of times we are told to do certain things in the old and new testament. We find the word: Pray a total of 533 times, Worship 192 times, Sing 252 times, Love 468 times, Say (said) 6684 times. It gives us an idea of how important it is to be careful what we say! Everything our God ever created or destroyed, he always spoke it first. He said "Let there be light, and there was light." Jesus said that the fig tree would never again bear fruit; and it was barren. The Lord said for us to say to the mountains standing in our way "be thou removed and cast into the sea" and it will jump into the sea. (Mk 11:23) So, we have precedence for speaking God's scriptures into our circumstances. Here is a list of paraphrased bible scriptures that we can read aloud 3 times a day until it gets down into our spirits. Read this daily for 6 months and you will know your authority in Christ. The littlest christian child has more power in her little finger than all the power of the enemy. The Lord Hears Me Always Today the Lord has heard my requests and he will receive my prayer. Evening and morning and at noon will I pray, and cry aloud and he shall hear my voice. For it is written, the righteous cry and the Lord heareth and delivers them out of all their troubles. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all. I shall call upon the Lord and he will answer me. He shall be with me in times of trouble and deliver me. God's word tells me to "Come boldly before the throne of grace" because I am seated with Jesus Christ in heavenly places. I am therefore seated at the right hand of the Father. I have the righteousness of Christ. It is a free gift Christ has given to me so that I can call upon the name of the Lord with confidence because I am a new creature in Christ. Power Over the Enemy It is written: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Greater is he who is in me than he that is in the world. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. But the Lord shall refute every tongue rising against me in judgement and show them to be in the wrong. Even the demons submit to us when we command them to go away in your Name, oh Lord. So in the name of Jesus Christ; I declare that I cancel the assignments of every evil spirit assigned against me and all members of my family. I release you spirits of your commissions and I command you to go from us in the name of Jesus Christ. And, at the name of Jesus Christ every knee shall bow, and God is a God who cannot lie. His words are yes and amen! The demons tremble at the mention of the name Jesus. I am more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ. It is not by might nor by power but by the spirit of the Lord that I can do all things. I am the head and not the tail. The Lord has told me that now let the weak say I am strong...let the poor say I am rich because of what the Lord has done. I shall not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand, but it will not come near me. Because, he who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust." I shall lift up my shield of faith and it will quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. And it is written: Whatever I bind on earth with my words, it is then bound in heaven also. "If Christ is for me...who can be against me?" The Lord is able to make all grace abound unto me. The Lord has blessed me so that I can speak the word into my circumstances and push back all the darkness of the enemy. The word of God is a two edged sword able to cut all the way unto the marrow. I raise my sword. I speak those things that are not; as though they were and then they shall come to pass. I am not moved by what I see. I see with the eyes of my spirit It is also written that whatever I loose on earth is loosed in heaven. Therefore, I loose the angels of heaven to come forth and surround me; and they shall lift me up and they shall watch over me so I will not even hurt my heel. By my God I can run through a troop and leap over a wall. The Lord has given me hinds feet to walk along high places. I have been given authority over all the power of the enemy. Jesus said that greater works shall I do because he has gone to the Father. And God is a God who cannot lie. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Let the poor say I am rich I know that according to Deuteronomy 8:18 "It is the Lord, God who gives me the power to create wealth." Everything that I put my hands to shall prosper. My God shall supply all of my needs according to his riches in glory. I give; therefore, it is given unto me, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over shall others give into my bosom. The blessings of the Lord maketh rich and he adds no sorrow with it. The generous man waters and he shall be watered in his time of need. For the Lord has said that I may prove him in this; that if I give a tithe of the firstfruits of my increase...he will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so big that I cannot contain it all. And he shall rebuke the devourer for my sake. The Lord personally will rebuke the enemy for my sake. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who finds great delight in his commands. My children will be mighty in the land, and the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches are in my house and righteousness endures forever. Even in darkness, light dawns for the upright, gracious and compassionate and righteous man. The righteous shall never be forsaken nor their children seen begging for bread. Though we went through fire and water, you have brought us into a wealthy place. You Lord desire above all things that we shall prosper even as our soul does prosper. No good thing will you withhold from those who walk uprightly. We are blessed in our basket. We are blessed coming into the city and going out of the city. Lord, you said that we shall eat the fruit of our lips. Therefore, I say that I am strong and not weak. I am rich and not poor. I am healthy and not sick. I am not doubleminded. For, the doubleminded man shall receive nothing from the Lord. I trust in the Lord with all my might and I do not let my mouth speak doubt. I say that though the vision tarries, I will wait for it. I will speak the things that I shall receive and I will not doubt or be afraid. Because, your word says that the word which goes out from your mouth will not return void, but will accomplish what you desire and achieve the purpose for which it was spoken. I will remember that I am accepted in the beloved. "And if my conscience condemns me still...the Lord is greater than my conscience." Kenneth McDonald is a co-founder of Prophetic Seminars .Com. Knowledge Of The Power For it is written in Proverbs 1:7 it says The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. Some may ask, what is knowledge? Well let's see what the Bible says. In Proverbs 18:16 it says A gift opens the way for the giver and ushers him into the presence of the great. Now in Proverbs 19:2 it says It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, and nor to be hasty and miss the way. Biblical Hermeneutics ? Part 3 Instead of being passive consumers of Biblical commentary, we can participate in the forming of a very particular, but no less authentic, commentary of our own. The only thing that should happen between text and commentary is exegesis, not homiletics. In other words, we should not become reliant on them. Continued dependence on commentaries will handicap or hinder the development of exegetical skills needed to do independent pre-commentary study. This is why it is probably safest to consult more than one commentary and to consult it at the end of the exegetical process and not the beginning. Rapture and the United States in the End times Explained 1. Where is the Rapture in all of this? There is a big debate in the Body as to whether or not there is going to be a rapture. That will be another whole article. However, if there is going to be a rapture, it will probably occur at one of three possible points: Computerized Christians? Get Ready for the New Church! Isaiah 43;19 declares: "Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." Comparative Religion 101 ? What They Wont Tell You in That Class If your view of religion is like most people, you think that religion is a list of do's and don'ts or a set of rules, laws or other directives that should be guiding your behavior. What is taught in comparative religion courses is based on this simple premise. New Testament Christianity is thrown into this generalized heap usually by people who are not Christians and have no understanding of what Christ stands for. You might say I am making an excuse for them, but I am not. The result of this assumption can produce the greatest loss any man could ever endure. Consider, The Past, Present and Future? If we were all being honest, most of us rarely give the matter a second thought. If your ministry, company, or even your civic group is struggling, or you're lacking contentment in your own spiritual life, here's a tip that's guaranteed to send any lackluster routine into hyperspace. Conclave: Electing a New Pope Upon the death of the Pope, a monumental sequence of events unfolds, culminating in a process known as the conclave whereby a new Pope is elected to lead the Roman Catholic faith. Jesus as the Rose of Sharon The words "rose of Sharon" comes out of the Old Testament in the Song of Solomon. The verse reads: "I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys." (Solomon 2:1) Do We Really Need God? The human being is endowed with ability. We have the capacity to do things. However, our ability is inherently limited. The human being is not almighty and so cannot accomplish all things. Because human capability is finite we find that a person cannot by his own powers alone ensure the success of all his pursuits and undertakings in life. A human being is not able to ensure his good health and the safety of his life at all times. A human being is not able to ensure his welfare throughout life. The fact that we experience anxiety, worry, fear and doubt is clear indication that our ability is not always sufficient to handle life's hazards, difficulties and challenges. A Gentle God I was in my late teens when I first read Henry Barbusse's Under Fire, a novel set in the first world war trenches. It led me to consider the question: who does God listen to when He is bombarded with the prayers of different nations and religions, all equally convinced that He is on their side? A Commonsense Guide to Exorcism Bloodshot eyes stared at the crucifix six inches from his nose. Leather restraints lined with lamb's wool fastened his arms and legs to the chair. Harry Potter To Christians: Its Not Good To Hear Voices That is the popular and, thank God (if you'll pardon the use of the G name) the politically correct feeling among most Christians today. You will recall that in the second book of the Potter series, The Chamber Of Secrets, Harry Potter alone heard the voice of the basilisk. When he confided in his two friends about it, one told him that even in the wizarding world, hearing voices is not a good thing. Like art imitating reality, can't we say that even in our non-wizarding world, it's not a good thing to be hearing voices. Whether those voices be God's or someone else's voice. Denominations Gone Wild: What Happened To Unity? The Bible teaches that Christians ought to practice a single faith. It reads: "There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all" (Ephesians 4:4-6). Yet, today, every man does what is right in his own eyes. What's the solution? Pastors and elders must set the church in order. Why Cardinal Ratzinger Chose the Name Pope Benedict XVI Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger was elected to the papal throne on April 19, 2005, the second day of the conclave. He chose to be known henceforth as Pope Benedict XVI. The cardinal from Germany is the 265th pope in the Catholic Church history. The Coming War with Russia The Coming World War III [with Russia] Tale of an Ark The ark must have been much larger than the dimensions in the Bible, 450' x 75' x 45', simply just would not have worked. There are 350,000 kinds of beetle alone. Not counting all the other kinds of insects. That is a lot of cages. The cages had to be made very well considering that at that time there were not items available for cage construction like plastics, glass and metal. That must have been hard work just dealing with the insects. Each bug has a different diet and environment.
