Everyone Has Been Hurt ....Part 6
Continued.... I have since grown a lot. I have grown through God's help and Jesus's love. My sister and my dad made up. My dad lived the rest of his life alone to punish himself for all he had done. He suffered for everything he did, and he made himself. He was alone a lot. When my sister forgave him, I forgave him and we all let it go. His last years were a little happier because of it, he went to church he became involved in our lives and he did all he could to make amends in anyway possible. He is gone now and I miss him and I miss all those years. He never once laid one hand on me, but I couldn't forgive until she did. He always came to special occasions and was always there when it mattered even though he knew he wasn't welcome most of the time, he put every effort in to changing his relationship with each of is. I could always see the sadness and hurt in his eyes that shame and guilt. It was so sad. The neighbor I dated became a city cop and is now a fireman, he is married with three kids and he is happy as far as I know. By the way it wasn't the ex he married, go figure The guy I got in so much trouble with, joined the Navy, we eventually made up and after not talking for years I called his mom one day he called me directly back we said our apologies, a week later he was coming home and fell asleep at the wheel and was killed, in a car wreck. Most of the other guys I am friends with. The next guy told one of my friends how sorry he was for how he treated me and he knew he had done so many things wrong and he hoped I didn't hate him. I don't. My ex husband? We are still working on a few issues at this time but it is coming along the best it can, considering. We do the best we can for Dakota and he deserves that so much. My oldest sister, was married but then divorced, she is now remarried and very happy in her life I believe. My youngest sister was married then divorced, she had a son, and is now living with a man she met about a year ago and is happier than she has ever been. My brother is married and has two girls and he is happy with his life. My grandma passed away a few years ago and everyone misses her, my grandpa we are still close and he is as he always has been. I think I had disappointed him at times but my mom says he is proud even if I don't see it. As for me, I have grown up. I still make mistakes, I am my worst critic. I am finally happy, I truly am. I have cried a lot especially in the past few years but it is my way of letting go. For someone who could never shed a tear in the past, I have come a long way. I release it with every single tear I shed. It has been a long time coming and I feel now, I finally learned to feel. The best is yet for me to come .I can see it in the not to distant future. I have lived and loved and learned. With Gods help I will go far.. I have been physically battered and beaten, I have been emotionally drained an definitely affected. I really never had anything to offer anyone but myself, I have given of that freely at times. Every person who has been apart of my life has taken a piece of me with them. Noone ever touched my spirit though. I'm now free of the past, my heart is now healed and now I can give it all. Why am I so optimistic, because I have finally found God and I have finally found Jesus, they have always been with me and nobody can ever take that away. Someday I am going to be somebody, someday I am going to be somebody I am proud of. Thanks for listening. Vaughn Pascal This was the start of my healing one of the first things I ever wrote, now you can look back at the rest of the articles and see where my faith in God led me, I am not this person anymore I haven't been for some time, see how far I have come, it all happened from "keeping the faith"... thanks... God bless each and everyone of you and all who have entered my life.

What an Artist Experiences When Working With the Angels I am an Angel artist on a passionate spiritual journey and I would like to share my story of what it is like to work with the Angels. It is a unique experience and very real. When Self-Growth becomes Self-Sabotage Many of us invest quality time and energy into our personal development. We buy inspiring books, sometimes with the workbooks or journals that complement them. We discuss psychology with our friends ? or we look for friends with whom we can have open discussions on the subject. There is activity in our mind ? at times a little bit of confusion. We encounter so many different lines of thoughts, so many tools, so many exploratory exercises we can do. It's as if we were in the middle of a dense, majestic forest? World Kindness Day Once upon a time, in ancient India, a beggar favored a certain foot of land in a village square. He wanted to be rich, but he only knew dire poverty. One day he died on the spot where he had been begging for decades. The villagers decided to bury him on the spot where he had spent decades begging. They marveled when they found that only a few feet beneath the surface lay a treasure chest from an ancient kingdom. Five Minutes Before the Miracle Even though this article was next on my idea list, and I write them in order whether I want to or not, I REALLY didn't want to write this article. Why not? Because it's about not giving up five minutes before the miracle-and I'm in the process of doing just that. The Pursuit of Greatness On June 3rd, 1948, a blast rocked the Black Hills of South Dakota. Ten tons of stone were dislodged from the mountainside and tumbled to the earth below. Earlier that day, a man named Korczak had ascended the mountain and single-jacked four holes at 6,740 feet above sea level. The Red Ribbon Everyone wants a blue ribbon. Blue. First place. The best. Even kindergarteners want that blue ribbon. In sports, I was never a blue-ribbon person. In a race I was always last. In baseball I was as likely to get hit on the head as to drop the ball. In basketball I was fine as long as there weren't nine other players on the court with me. Where I got my horrible sports ability, I don't know, but I got it. And I got it early. How To Be Secure In An Insecure World Most of us believe that our happiness and security are dependent upon our relationships, work, income and the external events that take place in our lives. When things are going well there is a sense of well-being and safety. We sleep well at night, wake up feeling refreshed and have the sense that the world can be managed - that we are in control. However, this kind of security is fleeting. As people and events are constantly changing, we are often edgy about what's coming down the road. And How Do We Feel This Morning? Without question, going to the hospital is teamwork from the time you arrive until you are wheeled out the front door. Everyone is working together for the common good of the patient, or at least a crack at his bank account. That is as it should be in such mercenary endeavors. The Power of Gratitude When my older son was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, my first reaction was relief ? I finally knew the reason for his behavior. However, I was also overwhelmed with sadness, fear and anger. I felt sorry for my son and for myself. Like many others in similar circumstances, my question to God was "Why me?" 20 Ways To Improve Your Life People often ask me how they can improve their lives. The Journey Home Did you ever wonder how you ended up where you are in your life? Is life a culmination of a series of very carefully planned moves or a hodge podge of serendipitous events? Of course as we get to know ourselves better, our radar becomes more finely tuned. Our intuition develops and we become more secure with our inner knowing. We make better choices. Sometimes I think the journey would be easier if we had a map to guide us. You Are a Beautiful Person I wish that I could tell every person that I meet that he or she is a beautiful person--and have them believe it. I wish I could look them in the eyes and tell them of their beauty and have them accept the words for what they truly are--the truth, plain and simple. Moment of Grace The bedrock of the Christian faith is the good news about God's love. Christian teachings about who we are and about our relationship with our Lord and each other is rooted in the fact that God is love and that He loves His creatures. "And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him." 1 John 4:16.
