STARTING POSITION Stand erect with the feet shoulder width apart, knees slightly flexed. UPWARD MOVEMENT Flex the elbows until the bar is a few inches from the front deltoids. DOWNWARD MOVEMENT Allow the elbows to slowly extend to the starting position.
